[ despite kano's... summoning circle, nothing happens! hm. maybe he drew it wrong.




or maybe he could leave the planetarium. once he does so, a figure suddenly appears on the ground next to him, as if they jumped from the roof--though even if kano was paying attention, he won't have seen said jump.

the horns and ears likely make it clear this is goat, though they say nothing, apparently waiting for kano to make the first move. ]

[suddenlybees]

[ Why didn't his summoning circle work ): He hangs around the planetarium for a bit, scuffing his shoes and pacing and when he finally leaves—-

A person suddenly appearing next to him out of nowhere freaks him the fuck out, he jumps back nearly five feet and throws his arms out in defense.

The summoning circle flutters to the ground between him and Goat. ]

[ they blink. you can't see it but it's happening.

then, slowly, they pick up the summoning circle and hand it out to kano. ]

[suddenlybees]

[ Kano sloooooooowwly reaches out to grab it, until he's an inch away from the paper and then he snatches it away, like he's afraid of getting his fingers nipped off.

Goats will eat anything, right?

He points to Goat's mask, and then holds his hand at his forehead, like he's shielding the sun off his face. ]

Is... is something wrong?

[ concerned?

though as they speak, kano might notice (if he's looking) that where one might normally have molars, goat instead has rows of fangs in the back of their mouth. hope that's not intimidating! ]

[suddenlybees]

Like, yeah? What isn't wrong?

[ Oh god. That is hella intimidating and Kano is very glad to have all his fingers attached. The paper gets shoved into his hoodie pocket for future summonings. ]

Hey, hey, I dunno if the other guys told you yet, but I'm Snake! Nice to meetcha! Can you scale walls?

[retellers]

Um... yes?

[suddenlybees]

[ LIKE A REAL GOAT ]

Can I see? I want to see!

[retellers]

Okay...

[ they press one foot against the planetarium wall, pausing for a moment, and then...

they run right up it as if gravity isn't a thing, before they climb onto the rooftop. ]

[suddenlybees]

[ Ooh...

Kano claps for the feat, round of applause as loud as he can, and then shouts so his voice can be heard all the way up there on the roof. ]

Wow! Amazing! Now do the worm!

[retellers]

[ they peer down at kano. confused, ]

The "worm"? I don't see any worms up here...

[suddenlybees]

The wiggly thing— don't make me have to show you too!

[ He huffs, arms dropping to his side. ]

Hey, like, can I get a lift? Got some rooftop talk I wanna have.

[retellers]

Okay.

[ they jump back down. ]

Do you want me to carry you...?

[suddenlybees]

Not like... "carry" carry... Can you, like, hoist me up by the back of my shirt or something?

[ After how the day's been going, he doesn't want to be carried......... but he wants to be up there on the roof. ]

[retellers]

I can do that, if that's what you want...

[ though they seem a little awkward as they grab the back of kano's shirt. no lifting just yet--looks like they're waiting to make sure this is really okay...? ]

[suddenlybees]

[ ...Kano leans to the side and pokes Goat's cheek, right under the right eye. ]

Man, you're just like number nine, huh? I'm asking you, aren't I?

[retellers]

[ they don't especially react to the poke, though they look confused. ]

I don't know what you mean by that... but all right.

[ and then, with that one hand, they lift kano off the ground without any visible effort. ]

[suddenlybees]

Number nine. What's his name...? Ko— uwahh!

[ No effort, and no warning either, as Kano yelps and goes still in Goat's grasp. ]

Konoha? Awakening? Mister Combat Specialist??

[retellers]

I do not know the name.

[ and then still without warning, they run up the wall again, holding onto kano. remember that you asked for this! ]

[suddenlybees]

Yeah, but you—-

[ oof, he cannot make conversation while being hoisted up a wall, and despite not wanting to be carried and literally asking for this, he ends up clinging to Goat's arm for dear life anyways until they reach the roof, and a little after too until the nausea passes. ]

[retellers]

[ they kind of just

drop kano onto the roof. it's probably not as gentle as it could've been, sorry kano. unless kano was clinging to their arm too hard, anyway. ]

Are you all right?

[suddenlybees]

[ He sure was death gripping it all the way up, so that after Goat lets go there's a moment where he's still clinging and then he lets himself plop down onto the ground the rest of the way. ]

Ugh... No way, no way. That guy got you too, huh? You're gonna tell me that, like all those other masked guys, you don't remember anything, right?

[retellers]

That's correct.

[suddenlybees]

Huh. Yeah. I'm, like, nobody worth remembering, but you said something like that to me before too.

[ He picks himself off the floor and dusts off his backside, trying to peer past Goat's mask. ]

Aren't you just Konoha? You, like, came over and had dinner and slept on the couch and everything?

[retellers]

[ there is nothing to peer at, kano!! ]

I-I don't know what you're talking about...
