[ He digs into his pockets for a scrap of lobby paper and a pen, writes down "IOU" on it, and holds it out to Goat. ]

It's endorsement! Proof that you're agreeing? It's an "IOU," see? It means that one day I might need help, and I'm gonna ask you for help, and I hope that you'll come.
