And were your teams completely even to start with?

It is a certain number. And there were forty-three of you at the start, so you can presume you were divided as evenly as possible.

Can you tell me what that certain number is?

And I can't help but wonder why you lose your powers on Thursday night specifically... So that you're just as susceptible to injury as the rest of us?

Perhaps the Realm deems those unable to protect their team members as unworthy of remaining.

... because perhaps I won't be able to protect anyone in time, given the sheer number of teams I would have to collect in order to truly get a glimpse of what the situation is.

But I don't believe in any of you being stripped of your powers and ability to protect yourselves because of our own folly, or circumstances outside of your control.

I'd rather know the certain number so I can be prepared - because information is all I currently have that I can use to help people here.

Even if you were to lose your powers - would you be able to remain in the castle? Would it be safer for you to remain there?

I don't know.

Probably.

I don't expect you to tell me who - but is there a chance the rule manifested because one of the leaders is currently in danger?

But you are correct--for their own safety, I will not name them.

.... is there any way to restore their protection and ability to defend themselves?

I don't know of any way.

... is there any way to shift team membership? If only to see if numbers could be evened out.

... I don't think so. Not that I know of, at least. Aside from perhaps if the Leader dies, but that's the opposite of what we hope to achieve...

... though I suppose that answers what happens if something happens to a Leader - their remaining membership will be dispersed and reassigned?

Hmm.... at the very least, it's something to consider. If the alternative were for example - death of a Leader results in death of their team... that would be even worse.

... though I'd still rather not see any of you be harmed. I'm rather fond of you all, you know?

I don't want to believe that my choice to get to know you all was a mistake.

[ ... ] I'm glad that you have been speaking with everyone. People have been very kind to me, but I don't know if that's necessarily the case across the board, so I hope the others also have friends...

Hansa likes you very much, at least. And I hope that everyone who knows my team would treat my Leader with the same kindness they offer me.

I think I'm still trying to learn how to talk to Fox and Tiger... so I hope they aren't bored when I call for them... but it's nice to get to know the others too.
