KING RULEBOOK
the king On Sunday, at 6pm, Emet-Selch will receive a message on his PHS. π€ β‘οΈ π° Upon receiving this message, Emet-Selch will notice that the castle appears closer than usual. Should he head towards it, he will finally be able to reach its entrance. Inside is a large hall with various doors, along with a staircase, but he will be able to access only a single door. Once he steps inside, he will find his Leader waiting for him. After their meeting is over and he leaves the castle, he will no longer be able to reach the castle again. As the King: Every Sunday, the King will be able to create one rule and one order that must be followed. These decrees will go into effect on the Monday of the following week, and will last until the following Sunday. The two decrees are as follows:
2) One order that one participant must follow. The participant will not be informed that an order has been given to them, and will only be aware of an urge to obey it. The participant will follow this order until the new week begins, or until the King chooses to remove it. Additional notes: The King will be allowed to ask questions about the on-goings of the game and communicate with their Leader in their weekly meetings. They may receive small hints should they perform well. However, the information received will be up to their Leader's discretion. |

WEEK 3
Tiger is once again at a booth, resting their head on their arms. It almost looks like they're asleep, but they look up as soon as Emet approaches. ]
CHOICE
no subject
he isn't here for holding hands and friendship but this should help to be a form of bonding, and he doesn't HAVE to put up with it if he really doesn't want to. win/win.
ORDER: yeets this in for you since it's determined: Shiro will receive the order to "Kill one other participant, to spare another child from killing."
TIGER
Re: TIGER
[he slides into the booth seat across from tiger, settling in, looking them over.]
Something exhausting enough, I take it?
no subject
[ they sit up. ]
People have been too crazy with rule breaking. Shit is starting to fall apart from it, so we have to waste energy to keep it together.
no subject
[he exhales a sigh, shaking his head. this is why like, only three people total are aware of his by now.]
And is this enough of a waste of energy to hinder your usual work?
no subject
It just means that... things might get a little weird. Weirder.
no subject
[the place is already weird enough, sometimes.]
Ah, but somewhat related to the business of teams-- we need not be too concerned with your status, I hope?
[he might not care about the competition, but, well. if that's detrimental in other ways, then he wants to be aware.]
no subject
no subject
[well, he can factor that into the rule creation. he's had his personal space week, back to work.]
I had heard that others from different teams received the same notification as I did earlier, but in a previous week-- was that simply a threshold they reached sooner, as well?
no subject
Basically, yeah. This competition doesn't reward people on an individual basis--it's all team. Even if you're doing great, if the rest of your team is slacking, then you're still going to suffer for it.
no subject
Well, I will see if there is aught I may do, then. Some of them do keep going on about concepts like friendship and love, but I am sure it will come as no surprise that I hardly intend to go about encouraging them to hold hands.
I don't suppose you have discovered any more direct methods, either.
no subject
[ disgusting.......
but anyway. ]
First, have you had any luck and figuring out who my hint was about?
no subject
[he was more comfortable sharing with another immortal first, naturally, and if he can find out while sharing with as few people as possible... well. of course he's doing that.]
no subject
Once you have the official confirmation, that should help.
no subject
[just. to make sure he doesn't add to the Problems. lord.]
no subject
Tomorrow's fine.
no subject
And of course, given the current situation, I should ask again-- last week's experiment appears to have worked just as well as anticipated, but if you believe it would be detrimental to continue on to the original plan... I will take it under advisement. You have more insight into what may cause further disruption than I, or so I should hope.
[but if it's not too risky to attempt, and if it could lead to generating nova, then it's time for experiment number two.]
no subject
Did you have anyone in particular in mind for that?
no subject
[you don't have to say that without hesitation, emet-selch, jesus.]
I was considering him already, but particularly after the events of the weekend... qualify it as an urge to kill so that the young ones do not have to suffer it themselves, and I suspect he may be easier to push.
There are others I believe could be used, but he is foremost among them. Even should it fail, if he ends up admitting to the fact that he has this urge at all-- well. That can also be useful in other ways.
[if they want bonds, then what assists that more than turning to someone in distress? if they need a nudge, maybe it'll spur a little action on their parts to know someone was nearly pushed into murder.]
no subject
[ they tap their fingers against the table top. ]
And if that doesn't work on him, it would at least help you figure out that he'd be an unlikely murderer during future trials.
no subject
['teej just decide on rules before sunday' it's HARD.]
In the meantime... the concept was brought up of nova splintering. I would ask what you know of that, as well.
no subject
[ ... ]
But I know it's been a thing since at least last week. And it does make sense, I guess. We knew that what Virid did fucked something up, but we couldn't figure out the full extent of it. This would line up with that.
