[ I was actually going to ask about horses in my last mod tag and decided not to, because it's funnier this way.

A few groundsmen look up as she yells, wondering what the fuck is the aide yelling about? And then they notice the giant blue being following behind her, and they do the intelligent decision of running away.

Clem is gonna walk into some shit. ]

[ she has a gun it's... it's probably fine! ]

[ wish jeanne were mean enough to call those groundsmen useless nut no she's glad they ran ]

Clementine! We need a way to counter this! It needs be something magical. [ Probably. ] Regular weapons don't seem to work on it!

The being is still walking behind and it... reaches over to grab a fleeing person who ran in the wrong direction, and is now throwing them at Clementine. Yeet. ]

[ clementine is very good at QTEs. i guess juggling just wasn't a QTE. anyway she dodges to the side and

despite the warning

pulls out her gun to shoot two shots at the being! ]

She watches to see if it does anything or not, but as she does, she's going to keep yelling at every rando to get out of here. ]

[ The npc that was just thrown breaks their neck and dies. Anyway.

The gun doesn't do much, except make it pause walking for a moment before it continues on. It's heading for the carriages so it can pick them up and then throw them at the two girls. ]

[ it's fine they're not... REAL real.

clem's microraptor jumps out of her hood, where it was apparently napping this whole time. it grows to as big as it gets, however big that is, then heads towards the carriages to try to keep the being from doing - whatever it intends to do with them.

clem calls out to jeanne: ]

I don't have anything else!

[ all she has is gun, dinosaur, and... beanbags?? ]

Where is the king? Do we know where the king is?

[ Jeanne also doesn't have anything else. Can't write this being's name on a wedding invitation because

1) don't know its name
2) it's not a participant ]

But maybe your dinosaur can hold it off for a while!

[ Well, I guess this thing is now wrestling with a dinosaur, so the two of them will have some time to catch up. ]

I think the dinosaur can keep the being preoccupied.

[ The dinosaur and the being are both still vibing. Don't mind them. A carriage is being thrown somewhere, probably towards the castle. ]

I don't know what else to do for her. I'm really not cut out for this shit.

[ clem leads the way back towards the garden where she last saw the king! ]

She seems really bored of everything. I don't know how the fuck to entertain her.

When the nobles talked of the king, it seemed she changed her mind often. We'll need to see what can catch her interest.

[ clem figured she was a pretty reasonable king to not be entertained by her... "juggling" but. maybe she's actually unreasonable? ]

[ When they reach the garden, Clementine will notice that now the entire thing is wild and unruly. Instead of something neatly maintained, it looks as if no one has ever tried to tend to it ever in their life. ]

Is that how this is supposed to look like, Clementine?

[ Somehow, Jeanne doesn't think so.

Sure hope the dino is still keeping that being occupied while they're checking out this garden. Also, I looked up what royal stewards wear and i guess it really is fancy. Imagine that going though a few tree beatings and narrowly being crushed by a carriage.

Nnno, it was really nice earlier. Mostly. Now it just looks like gardens back home.

[ and where did the king go... ]

[ As they move deeper into the garden, there will be a moment where the scenery flashes and, for a second, turns into what looks like a classroom. It's immediately back to the garden.

Still no sign of the king though. ]

That the environment can change just like that...

A classroom? When I was hunting earlier, there was a fog and for a moment, I thought I could see a city.

[ Time to go deeper into the gardens??? ]

[ they continue onward! ]

Is that - a hint, you think? Like that we're supposed to go somewhere else?

[ where even would a city be relative to a castle. she does not think that's it, she's just floating ideas. ]

[ They will eventually reach a spot that is incredibly thick with plants, to the point where they will have to squeeze through. But, if they look on the ground, they'll see white lines drawn on the floor and leading through that spot. ]
