And for the most part, it does seem that everyone's intentions are good. So that's sweet.

But we need more information first, before we can determine how to act. Two weeks is not yet enough to determine whether anything is truly a pattern.

Precisely so - but at least if everyone I spoke to is willing to be honest, we'll be able to verify some truths for each team.

It's not a terrible position to be as a starting place... and my hope is that Sharon might still be able to act on her own wherever she is, so long as her soul exists.

At the very least, she knows what the goal is and seemed capable enough, so I don't mind relying on her.

... she told me what she lost, and why it mattered to her more than anything to try to get it back. I told her why I couldn't die, because I have a nation that is relying on me. So I can't afford to meet my end here.

Though I told her that I didn't believe that the 'removed' were completely out of consideration - you hesitated to tell me before, in a way that didn't result in consequences, and perhaps I believed too much in the idea that there was more you couldn't say. [but it worked out? sort of?] So I told her that even if one of us were to be removed, they would have to work in accordance with the will of the victor.

Because ultimately we didn't have a problem with each other - it was only with the Realm for making us participate in this sort of business.

So I don't intend to go easily, else it end up being a fruitless endeavor for both of us.

... It sounds like she believed in you. [ ... ] I am glad, at least, that there were no hard feelings between the two of you. Death is enough of a burden to carry, even without hatred.

... well, I know what I've done. To take a life remains to be something difficult, even if it was a situation where I didn't have a choice but to do so.

But I can carry one more person's belief.

Given that the nova generated for our team was likely hers.... I don't mind carrying her wish along with me as well. It's the least that I could do.

... If her death contributed to our nova, I don't believe it was as much as you suspect. Much of it was gained from different times in the week. Though I don't know if that makes it better or worse...

.... it depends, I suppose. It makes me wonder what Rabbit and Wolf's teams are doing, exactly, that manage to make them catch so much of a lead.

Do you have any new clarification about what causes nova to gather? Strong emotions, like that after trial, participating in the oddities on Wednesday, and harming another person?

[ ... ] We still don't always know exactly... but your bonds with one another--and perhaps with us, the Leaders--may be one source. What you went through on Thursday, another. Wednesdays and the conclusion of trials have been the most consistent. Though in regards to the latter, less nova was gathered last week than the first, because of, um, the results... [ y'all voted for an innocent ]
