GRAVEYARD

GRAVEYARD

Well, that sucked.

But no matter what your death was like—whether it was something peaceful or traumatic, you'll find yourself waking in a completely white room on the floor. Small and empty, there isn't anything else there besides an open door to walk through. But before you do that, you'll probably notice that whatever injuries you may have had, including whatever may have been the death blow, are now gone. That's exciting.

Stepping out of the room, it seems that you're in a large... house? with three different floors. Everything from floor, ceiling to furniture is completely white, except for the drawings that are plastered to the walls in each room. These are all colorful, drawn in colored pencils and crayon, and resemble a child's drawing. The other notable thing are the windows. While they're present all around the building, looking out of them only shows TV static. Besides that, everything is furnished with the absolute bare minimum of each room.

The first floor is all typical common areas one would find in a house. There's a kitchen, living room area, laundry room, dining room, and a main hallway where the stairs are. There are also helpful drawings in these rooms that show the rooms much more lavishly decorated than they actually are. There's a door that appears to be the way to exit the building, but it leads you to somewhere that's not the front lawn.

The second floor consists of nothing but twenty bedrooms. Each room has one queen sized bed, an empty dresser, and an attached bathroom with only a sink, toilet, and shower. Like the first floor, each bedroom has drawn pictures that show it looking much more lavish than it actually does. Thanks for nothing, artist!

The third floor only has two rooms. One appears to be a home office with nothing but a desk and two chairs, one behind it and one in front of it. On the desk are some blank pieces of paper along with crayons, as well as a written note next to them that says PLEASE DRAW THE PREFERRED ANIMAL :). It looks like this is how you ask for a meeting with a Leader.

The other room is much larger, and it's completely empty save for the many drawings lining its walls— in fact, the walls are covered in them, much more than in any other room. On closer inspection, though, it seems like these aren't actually drawings? The papers seem to be showing scenes from the living area. Everything from inside the hotel to the areas beyond the bridge are visible here. However, when curfew hits on Thursday nights, they revert to being normal drawings! Except for the fact that they're all drawings of stick figures being murdered in various ways.

Well. At least there's plenty of things to draw with, if you get bored.

As of Week 3, each person has the ability to send messages on their PHS unlocked.

CONTACTING PEOPLE

[NOW THAT WE'VE ALL HAD A CHANCE TO YELL AT ONE ANOTHER AND GET IT OFF OUR CHEST:]

If we only have two weeks, and not enough people... then Yoshizawa-chan is right. We need to be really, really careful about our messages.

I can talk to Xie Lian. I know he'll share with Won-san, and our team... they still need to remove one more person. I think Claude might have known, too, but... he never specified, and he never was comfortable saying what his team was. But I can send him something, too.

Has anyone tried to share a specific number with somebody who's alive, and gotten a response back?? We need to tell them that two people need to die, and how many each team needs, and that as far as we know, Wolf-san's team is the only one that's safe. So... um...

What kind of numbers do we know? And who is talking to which team?

I plan to write to Sora-san as Swan-san requested, and... Solus-san messaged me last week, and Fujimoto-san received a message from him indicating he was willing to kill again for his team. So I plan to send a reply, and encourage him to speak to Sora-san about what he knows. I don't think he's the type to act rashly, or share information carelessly.

[She stans one (1) rat grandpa.]

Last week, most of us sent messages to members of the different teams asking them to kill. Or, ah, not to kill in Carré-san's case. The conditions for reviving the dead were shared as early as two weeks ago as well. I heard about them days before I died, because someone messaged Sora-san. [So, Team Swan is good.] We still need to fully confirm how many of us from each team there are before I share what Swan-san requested. But I think it's safe to say all teams have killed at least once, and all require one more kill except for Wolf-san's team.

Mmn... I can try to tell them that much at least.

I think... we need them to know that we can see them, and that... they really need to talk to each other. I think there's a lot of people assuming things because they just don't know any better...

I know it's going to be dangerous without sharing teams, but someone has to take a risk if everyone's gonna be able to work together.

... Everyone is taking a risk, though. Even if we can't see it for ourselves, I know people are sharing everything they've learned with those they trust. The only problem is— All risks have to be calculated. We oughtn't take actions that will further destabilize the Realm, or else all of our actions will have been for nothing.

I know. I also know there's still a handful of people that know very little, or have the completely wrong idea.

I don't think anybody should be breaking the rules. But to just keep it among a couple people now, if it's not information that would break anything... I'm... afraid someone will make a really, really bad decision if all they have to work with is scraps, when somebody else near them can prevent it.

I can send additional messages to Xie Lian and Soo-Won as backup. No offense to any other team, but my first priority is making sure Goat has two kills.

Our team only needs one more, right?

I don't know Won-san as well as Chijin, but if he's already killed Sharon-san, then... maybe he would be willing to plan something out with somebody else, if it meant saving more people.

The team I'm worried most about right now is Rabbit-chan's. We still need all of the teams to help make this work, not just one or two. Do we know anybody on Rabbit-chan's team? Anyone at all?

Our team needs one more, and then we can stop worrying about it. Rabbit's team is the next problem, because we don't have enough information yet. It's going to be a process of elimination.

I don't think you're wrong, Laine-san. But... if Yoshizawa-chan is right, and we only have until the end of next week, then we don't have the time for a "next" problem.

It's the whole reason we need to work together.

What I mean is that I'm personally going to focus my efforts on making sure Goat gets another kill as soon as possible, unless someone presents a more compelling option.

Goneril-san may be on Rabbit-san's team, but it's not something we know for certain.

... It's a start. The least we can do is ask, or... try to ask, anyway.
