GRAVEYARD
GRAVEYARD Well, that sucked. But no matter what your death was like—whether it was something peaceful or traumatic, you'll find yourself waking in a completely white room on the floor. Small and empty, there isn't anything else there besides an open door to walk through. But before you do that, you'll probably notice that whatever injuries you may have had, including whatever may have been the death blow, are now gone. That's exciting. Stepping out of the room, it seems that you're in a large... house? with three different floors. Everything from floor, ceiling to furniture is completely white, except for the drawings that are plastered to the walls in each room. These are all colorful, drawn in colored pencils and crayon, and resemble a child's drawing. The other notable thing are the windows. While they're present all around the building, looking out of them only shows TV static. Besides that, everything is furnished with the absolute bare minimum of each room. The first floor is all typical common areas one would find in a house. There's a kitchen, living room area, laundry room, dining room, and a main hallway where the stairs are. There are also helpful drawings in these rooms that show the rooms much more lavishly decorated than they actually are. There's a door that appears to be the way to exit the building, but it leads you to somewhere that's not the front lawn. The second floor consists of nothing but twenty bedrooms. Each room has one queen sized bed, an empty dresser, and an attached bathroom with only a sink, toilet, and shower. Like the first floor, each bedroom has drawn pictures that show it looking much more lavish than it actually does. Thanks for nothing, artist! The third floor only has two rooms. One appears to be a home office with nothing but a desk and two chairs, one behind it and one in front of it. On the desk are some blank pieces of paper along with crayons, as well as a written note next to them that says PLEASE DRAW THE PREFERRED ANIMAL :). It looks like this is how you ask for a meeting with a Leader. The other room is much larger, and it's completely empty save for the many drawings lining its walls— in fact, the walls are covered in them, much more than in any other room. On closer inspection, though, it seems like these aren't actually drawings? The papers seem to be showing scenes from the living area. Everything from inside the hotel to the areas beyond the bridge are visible here. However, when curfew hits on Thursday nights, they revert to being normal drawings! Except for the fact that they're all drawings of stick figures being murdered in various ways. Well. At least there's plenty of things to draw with, if you get bored. As of Week 3, each person has the ability to send messages on their PHS unlocked. |

LATE MONDAY, WEEK 5...
Hello, everyone! If I may have your attention, I would like to pool the information we've gathered so far. [Sweaty. The bird also seems sweaty?? Terrible. She glances at Bucky, Alyssa and Hikaru, just a little apologetic.] You may have heard of most of this before, but let us know if you have any questions. Even if they're about this place, or something you hear that hasn't come up! And— oh! We're allowed to share our teams and teammates without any consequences here, though we still oughtn't pass any names onto the living. Having that information ourselves will be a huge help, however! We need to successfully coordinate our efforts to help our friends.
[Anyway...]
To reiterate, Fox-san confirmed for Sharon-san that each team must kill twice in order to rescue the dead. We've tried to relay this message to the living, but... Now that our numbers have increased, we need to confirm everyone's teams again. I would also like to know if the animal insignia on your PHS flashed yesterday— [A glance at Hikaru, Alyssa and Bucky.] Or on a previous week, in your case! This will tell us which teams have already killed, and when.
Additionally, our team leader regain important memories about the Realm every time someone on our team kills. Last week, Wolf-san remembered that we're trapped in a time loop. I believe Solus— Ah, Emet-Selch-san's leader may have another piece of information that will help us further understand this. I think his leader may be, um, Tiger-san or Rabbit-san based on what we know, but I can't say for certain. [A pause.] Ah! Right. Did anyone receive any additional texts on Friday...? I received two. One from Emet-Selch-san and another from someone who, um, didn't manage to sign their name.
[She will set her PHS down so everyone can look through her Friday texts, since the dead have reading rights. Hooray!]
... Finally, Swan-san's insignia flashed on my PHS yesterday. They confirmed that someone on my team was ordered to kill, and that they regained an important memory as a result. [A pause, uneasy.] That is, we have until the "Friday after this one" to meet the conditions Fox-san spoke of. Swan-san requested that I figure out how many people from each team are on this side, and send that information topside— to Sora-san and the others. Um... I asked if requesting you do the same would help, and they said that it ought to be okay as long as we're careful not to send it to someone who would rush into things. They, ah, haven't exactly shared this information with the other leaders. So... Please, let's take this time to discuss who we are going to contact and why.
[Haha. So, that's that.]
As a reminder, Wolf-san's team has already met the conditions! I confirmed that one person killing twice would be enough, so... [You go, Team Wolf!] They oughtn't kill again, or they may place Fox-san and Goat-san's teams in further danger. And, um... Regarding Viridian-san, Ichinose-san's death may not have counted towards any team. But because he didn't lose all of his memories immediately at the end of the week, he definitely had a leader. [RIP to the Virid is teamless theory. But, hey! At least Pikachu died for a good cause.] That's all— I think? If you've heard something new from a leader, or noticed I missed anything, please speak up.
[She pauses for a moment, and then offers a polite, nervous bow. Like last week, here's our handy dandy spreadsheet for weekly team pings + current team line-ups.]

...
My PHS only ever flashed once.
I... know everyone on my team that's still alive, Yoshizawa-chan, and that there were seven of us. Do we know if that much is safe to say...?
no subject
It's completely safe, I promise! I already shared the names of everyone on my team, and no ill effects came from it. Most of the rules from the other side don't apply to us.

I'm pretty sure Emet was on Tiger's team. I told Xie Lian that we needed Emet's team, and Xie Lian sent me a riddle: "What animal is the strongest, besides a dragon?" And between Rabbit and Tiger, that has to be Tiger.
So if a swan killed last week, that means each team has at least one kill. Wolf has two, and there's one kill unaccounted for.
no subject
[Especially since they. Will need to write to him anyway, given all their dead Goats. Holy shit.]
As long as the unaccounted kill isn't for Wolf-san's team, that means another team has fulfilled the conditions. [Yay?] Um... Your PHS didn't flash yesterday, right?

Wait. I know all the people on Wolf's team--or, well, all the ones who were alive as of last week. Who the hell killed twice from our team?

Does this mean you're on Wolf-san's team, Vezda-san? We need to know who else is on his team, if you're willing to share with us.

[GET ON THAT, FOX TEAM!!]
So one kill this week was someone on Swan. If Wolf did not flash either— [glances at Shiro] — then that leaves Rabbit, Tiger and Goat.
One of those teams should be safe now.

CONTACTING PEOPLE
If we only have two weeks, and not enough people... then Yoshizawa-chan is right. We need to be really, really careful about our messages.
I can talk to Xie Lian. I know he'll share with Won-san, and our team... they still need to remove one more person. I think Claude might have known, too, but... he never specified, and he never was comfortable saying what his team was. But I can send him something, too.
Has anyone tried to share a specific number with somebody who's alive, and gotten a response back?? We need to tell them that two people need to die, and how many each team needs, and that as far as we know, Wolf-san's team is the only one that's safe. So... um...
What kind of numbers do we know? And who is talking to which team?
no subject
[She stans one (1) rat grandpa.]
Last week, most of us sent messages to members of the different teams asking them to kill. Or, ah, not to kill in Carré-san's case. The conditions for reviving the dead were shared as early as two weeks ago as well. I heard about them days before I died, because someone messaged Sora-san. [So, Team Swan is good.] We still need to fully confirm how many of us from each team there are before I share what Swan-san requested. But I think it's safe to say all teams have killed at least once, and all require one more kill except for Wolf-san's team.

If it's only for a day, though, then what if they just think it's, um... someone alive who's trying to trick them?
Shouldn't we add something that lets them know for sure that it's from one of us?
