Oh, absolutely not, but in the end it could answer my question—that it is potentially possible for an unrelated person to be manipulated into committing a crime, should someone not want to bloody their own hands.
I think it's possible, but would probably be rare enough we probably won't deal with it too often. Just because if there is an item like that around, I doubt there would be too many of them. Someone would have outed its existence if there was a bunch, right?

Certainly. Rest assured, I would not count on it during further investigations, but it is best to consider all the options available to us. We know not if that was truly the cause, after all. Again, he could have been his own undoing—it may have not been caused by a participant at all.
Yeah. There's also the whole losing memories thing--someone had pointed out during trial that Shiro admitted that if he lost certain memories, he might be willing to kill. It could be the case of a lot of people. If you lose the wrong ones, you might be less nice.

Eh, it's fine. It's better to come and talk to me about it, even if all we do is clear some misconceptions and get confused about other things. You'd be surprised at how some rumors have gotten started here because no one thought to fact check first.
I think we managed to fix a few of them at this point, but there was a lot more wrong information in the beginning about what we were involved in that could have been easily answered if we were just asked.
And there's a lot of misconceptions on how the ranking system works.
Oh, that... To speak true, I have little idea how it works myself, but I have not put a lot of thought into the—ahem, competition side of matters as of late.
