Tomatoes aren't normally poisonous!!!

Aren't they?? Mister Shiro said the stems are, so I went ahead and collected them so the rest of the tomatoes are safe!

Wait, they are?? [ ???? ] And who eats tomato stems???

I bet I could feed half the people here tomato stems and they wouldn't even know.

People being dumb doesn't mean you should feed them whatever!

I shouldn't but I could. If somebody gave you food, wouldn't you just eat it?

Maybe I'll try to make them grow into a plant.

You'll only need the seeds for that, though! What about the rest of the tomato?

I can't test them to see if they're poisoned. They have to go.

[ Kano holds his hand out. ]

[ there's a pause and then they give him back the tomatoes??? ]

[ He eats one of the tomatoes and passes the bag back to swan.

There. Now we'll both die.

That's not better? That's not better at all?? [ they. they do take the bag back, though ] I know this is supposed to be "I wouldn't poison myself on purpose", but you really have a way to make it sound worse every time.

Haha~ You know what I mean, though, right? So isn't that good enough?

[ better than trying to be like this around Rabbit and Goat; it's tough speaking circles around people who'll take him seriously at face value ]

It is. If you're secretly immune to poison and you poisoned me, though, I'm gonna be sooo mad.

[ they pop a tomato in their mouth despite that, so how serious were they ]

[ Never bothered him! But it's a good cherry tomato, juicy and sweet and with that faintly grassy aftertaste that sun ripened garden tomatoes have.

Any potential poisoning won't be immediate anyways. ]

You sound way too okay about that. You shouldn't want to make people mad. [ a beat as they consider; ] At least not like, all the time.

Well, sometimes people tell you not to do stuff, but you have to, so of course they'll be mad at you when you do it anyway, but they'll get over it!

Yeah, yeah, that's how it is! People get mad, but they'll get over it! And if they don't, it's alright too!
