[ claude will receive a message on their phs telling him to head to the bridge!

assuming he does so, he'll find fox there, leaning on the railing as they look out to the river. as he approaches, they properly stand back up to turn and look at him, smiling politely. ]

What can I do for you?

[riegan]

(He waves,)

... It really worked. (Wishing, that is. Color him surprised.) Some answers, hopefully.

Thanks for meeting me, by the way.

(And while he doesn't exactly bow, he'll raise a hand to his chest in gratitude.)

First things first... what are you and your friends doing this week?Keeping busy?

[retellers]

[ dryly, ]

Yes. With things like fixing the microwave, for one.

[ yeah. fox knows what you did, claude. ]

week 0, monday

[retellers]

[ claude will receive a message telling him to wait where he is.

after a while, fox shows up at the doorway, knocking on it to announce their presence. ]

[riegan]

(When Fox arrives, Claude is quick to greet him,)

That was fast. (Impressive.) I'm guessing the three of you rotated with the others this week. How are you doing? You guys didn't look like you were doing much better than us before.

I try not to make people wait.

with a (somewhat frozen) smile, ]

Rabbit isn't, ah, used to sights like that, I imagine.

week 0, thursday

[retellers]

[ claude will get a message telling him to wait where he is!

and then, some time later, fox shows up at the doorway, looking a little out of breath like they ran here. ]

What is it?

[ they assume it's fairly urgent if he's calling for someone on thursday evening, when they don't know what might happen tonight. ]

[riegan]

(IT IS URGENT and as soon as Fox arrives, Claude is spinning around and practically demanding,)

What's happening to me? Do you know how many cups of tea I've made today?

(No?)

I don't even know how many I've made anymore!

[retellers]

[ claude? ]

... Come again?

week 2, monday

[retellers]

[ claude will receive a message telling him to head to the railroad station, where fox is waiting. ]

[riegan]

( It doesn’t take him long to show up! When he does, he’ll give Fox a two fingered salute and then come over to chat, )

Find out anything?

( You know, about Thursday. )

[retellers]

[ ... ]

I wouldn't say I found out anything, but it seemed your friend had.

week 2, monday

[retellers]

[ claude will receive a message from rabbit telling him to go outside. once there, he will see them.

also feel free to tag this after your thread with fox, i just wanted to get it setup before i forgot. ]

[riegan]

( WILL PROBABLY TAG THIS ONE A LITTLE SLOWER at first but this is fine )

Back on the the frontlines this week, huh? Are you ready?

( You know... Wouldn’t want to see rabbit fainting again. )

[retellers]

[ there's a small nod. ]

I'll be as ready as I can be.

[ they will... do their best... not to faint. ]

week 3, wednesday

[retellers]

[ claude will receive a message telling him to go to the forest, which is incredibly specific and not vague at all.

but if claude makes an attempt to search, after a while a small bird will fly around him, as if trying to get his attention. should he follow, it takes him to goat, sitting under a tree. ]

[riegan]

(Claude knows a sign when he sees one! So he'll follow the bird to see where the world takes him and--)

You seem comfortable.

(And he's just going to come over and take a seat right in front of him,)

It's been a few days... but I want to say I'm sorry for your loss.

(Raven.)

[ ): ]

... I hope that he may be able to find rest now.

week 3, tuesday/wednesday

[retellers]

[ claude will receive a message telling him to wait there, aka at the planetarium.

after a while, fox shows up, looking somewhat tired and headache-y, but they knock on the entrance frame to catch his attention. ]

[riegan]

(And he waits! Patiently until Fox arrives to which Claude just replies--)

You look like a mess.

[retellers]

[ a light laugh ]

A charmer as always, I see.

week 3, sunday

[retellers]

[ claude will receive a message telling him to wait where he is.

after a while, fox shows up, knocking on the doorframe to catch his attention. ]

[riegan]

(Oh boy.

He hears that tap and really, a sense of dread just washes over him He shifts, and well... he tries to keep himself together but the truth is, with the trial and everything over, he's kind of losing his focus. Not that it's anyone's fault but his own. His mind is whirling, too many thoughts, not a single useful one, and he's just trying to find some words-- any word-- right now.)

... I messed up.

(That's it. That's all that comes out. It's all he can think of. Just the same thought. Again. And again.

Is that really how he's going to start this? Yeah. That's it.

Really.

Damn.)

week 4, sunday

[retellers]

[ claude will receive a message telling him to head to the bridge.

there, fox is waiting. ]

[riegan]

(Take this tea he definitely didn't make himself,)

Wish I could return the favor from last week but... looks like I can't do anything these days.

(He speaking lightly! What's a little bit of self deprecative humor after some emotional loss. It's fine. Besides seeming tired, he's... fine? At least, better than the previous week. To be fair, that's also a pretty low bar.)

At least some things seemed to go right.

(They found each other. They seemed to have collected a decent amount of nova, too? Hm.)
