Last week... I suspect that what people theorized was the truth--that someone, maybe even the victim herself, was out to regain an important memory via the quickest method they had learned of.

It doesn't explain everything and there are other factors consider but you went down in the ranks. Is it possible... or rather, could you tell me, if our team has gotten smaller?
(It would make sense. If a team loses members, they'll collect less nova.)
With six people dead, it's possible for each team to have lost someone but it's also possible that another team or two could have taken another hit.
