It's probably meant as a method of keeping the peace. Participants aren't supposed to fight each other. But it doesn't account for training or potential future threats. We're able to protect you if it comes to that, but it'd be better if you could do more than hide if something went wrong.
Only six of you to protect forty-three of us does seem a little unfair...

A lot of us seem pretty resourceful, so I'm sure we'll figure out some way to help if something does happen, but it'd be good to have properly-forged weapons, too. Just in case.
Mhm. He said he'd teach me a lot of things while we were here... archery is just one of them. He seems like he knows how to make a lot of different things.
Some people are like that. Good at making things. [ kind of stating the obvious there, wolf, buddy. ] And if he's willing to provide you with the bow and arrows for free, then that works out.
I feel pretty lucky. [good thing she ran into horse dad day one!] It will be really interesting to see what goes into making a bow. One of my friends from home used to make arrowheads, but I've never seen the whole bow get made before.
