[ Let's hope Yona is familiar with the PHS by now, because she'll get a notification on it from Wolf! It reads simply: "meet you outside". ... Presumably, they mean outside the Planetarium, since if Yona leaves it, she'll find Wolf leaning against the wall next to the door. ]

[ wow... wolf greeted her verbally... so proud of them... ]

[Well! That's convenient. Yona steps outside the planetarium and smiles, though she can't help but wonder how Wolf got there so quickly.]

[She sounds perfectly pleasant! ...for now, anyway.]

I didn't get the chance to introduce myself, yesterday, so I thought I ought to, since... [She nods down at the PHS.] It seems you're my Leader. My name is Yona; it's nice to meet you.

[retellers]

[ He'll nod back at her. ]

Right. Assignments went out. [ ... ] Nice to meet you too. [ they could stand to sound a little more sure of that. ] Most people didn't get to introduce themselves. Everything was chaotic.

[dawnblushed]

I guess that's what happens when you put so many people all in one place.

[Chaotic is an understatement.]

Since we'll be working together, I was hoping to learn a little bit more about you. Why don't we go for a walk?

... Alright. But there's not much to know.

[ memory loss is hilarious. but they lift themselves off the wall, prepared to walk. although. uh. ]

Might want to bring the fruit.

[ it didn't like, vanish or anything. ]

[she'll. go back and grab that.]

...so, I guess my first question is, what fruit do you like best?

[so she knows which one to hand over to them first!]

Uh... [ they hesitate as they look over the fruit ] Apple, I guess?

[ it's the sound of someone who really has no preference having to make a choice, it sounds like. ]

[offers them an apple! enjoy.]

I had apples for breakfast the other day - they were pretty tasty. The produce here isn't bad.

[ they don't bite it just yet... ]

Good to know. We're the ones providing it.

[dawnblushed]

...oh. I guess this wasn't a very good gift, then.

The gifts aren't necessary unless you want to talk to someone who isn't your Leader. I have to show up for you no matter what. The others can ignore you if they want.

[ a beat and they amend; ]

They're bribes, basically.

[ but with all that they didn't disagree fruit was a bad gift. ]

That seems a little unfair, though. You don't have any choice but to come talk to me, so you might as well get something nice when you show up.

[she should probably ask wolf what to bribe the others with, but. that will come later.]

So what sorts of things do you like?

You guys can't get anything here. It's more unfair to make you give us offerings for no reason.

[ but... fine, they'll answer. ]

I like things that are useful. For combat or otherwise. [ ... ] And alcohol.

[ since the latter will be easier to get. ]

I see. I'll keep that in mind for next time.

[yona looks amused.]

You said combat... what sort of weapons are you trained to use?

[retellers]

[ hmm. they look at their hand and make a fist, flexing it ]

Swords. Not sure about anything else.

[dawnblushed]

It looks like my sword got left behind when the Realm brought me here, but if we're able to find weapons at some point, would you want to spar?

[it'll be good to keep up with her practice!!]

[ uh... wolf looks down at her for a second ]

We're not allowed to harm you guys. Don't know if sparring counts.

If we're careful, neither of us will get hurt, right?

I guess... Still need to find a weapon first. Can't provide you guys with those.

[ noooo fighting! ]

Maybe we can make wooden swords for practice from the trees. I'm not very good at carving, though.

If it's like that, might as well just grab sticks. It's about the form, not the weight.

[ she seems determined about it, so they're... apparently okay with it? ]

Oh, that's a great idea! Do you want to do that now, then? Or is it too short notice?

Aren't you injured?

[ it's not a no, but they do sound a little judgmental. ]

I've fought through worse injuries than these before. I don't want to get out of practice!

You won't get out of practice if you rest a few days. That's not how that works. [ :/ ] If you want to survive in battle, you have to know when to retreat to heal. Can't brute force every fight.
