[ a pause, and then they walk over to the door and looks outside before coming back in. ]

[ and while she'll keep the hood up, she'll take off the mask. ] H-hello.

[ alex just smiles. ]

Hello. It's nice to meet you, without the mask as well.

It's nice to meet you too! It's nice to have that off... [ it gets stuffy. ]

[ ... um. ] Do you... wear it all the time, even in the castle?

[ oh no... mikurabbit your PORES ]

I take it off when I'm alone, but... we normally wear them when we're around each other, yes. [ their uniform... ]

So your identities are all a mystery to each other as well?

[ ... unmasking aside, they had a plan for today didn't they? alex looks between here and the door and then



just picks up a chair and jams it under the door handle. if anyone wants into this kitchen they can knock. it's mask-free time. ]

[ she smiles at the door thing. alex is so smart. ] Oh... I really don't remember what my name is. People have been calling me things like Bunny though, if they don't like Rabbit.

... You've been here long enough to forget your name? [ she looks... a little shaken by that? like some sort of fear just got dragged up out of nowhere, but she squashes it down pretty fast. ]

Oh, which one do you prefer?

[retellers]

Bunny sounds cuter. [ she has simple tastes. but. ] Um... I don't remember anything about myself. I know how old I am, and that I'm human, but... nothing else that's personal. The other Leaders don't either.

[chanteuser]

[ bnuuy ]

[ alex is getting out the other things for! parfait! monday! but her hands hesitate at that admission about just how little Bunny remembers. ]

... If we keep up the nova gathering, will your memories come back as well?

[retellers]

Hopefully! I'm sure it'll turn out fine. [ or else!! ] But it's been... okay. Since I don't remember anything, I'm not even sure what I'm supposed to be sad about.

The idea of that scares me a little. I'm not going to pretend otherwise.

[retellers]

... it's not going to get that bad for you, at least. I really don't think you'll be here long enough for that. [ ... ] But it is scary.

[ she's got all the stuff out now to make parfaits, and some glasses to put them in, because oh right that was what they were originally going to do. but she pauses, running her finger around the bottom of one of the glasses. ]

You said you know how old you are? Are you okay with telling me?

[ i'm going to be real, mikuru does not have an actual canon age except "most likely not actual high school age" so this is just francy throwing a dart at a board ] Nineteen.

[ i accept francy's logic as infallible.



anyway, alex is just silent for a moment. and then she's just going to hug bnuuy. ]

[ oh she's startled, and doesn't do anything for a second, before she hugs back. ]

... neither should you. It really is a terrible situation for everyone.

We've only been here a little while, we still know who we are...

[ what if she has family who miss her, and don't know where she's gone? it hits so painfully close to home that her heart aches. ]

We have to get out of here. All of us.

[retellers]

... we will. [ their voice is firm, even though it's still quiet. ] We definitely will! And then we won't ever have to do something like this again.

Oh... no, I wasn't promised anything super specific like that, I think? But if we fix everything, then there's no need for us to be here. We'll get to go home. That's less of a promise and more just that our job here will be done.
