[ soo-won makes a wish and nothing happens! not even if he steps out of the planetarium. no goat, unfortunately. hours later, though, wherever soo-won may be, goat suddenly shows up, albeit looking a little unsteady. hi. ]

soo-won automatically reaches out to him, hoping to try to help steady him.]

[and he'll guide goat to have a sit with him they're probably in the forest honestly]

What happened?

[retellers]

[ goat sits down on the dirt, before holding a hand up to his head as if he has a headache. ] ... Too many people are breaking the rules, and too frequently. The Realm is destabilizing. We are doing our best to hold it together at the moment.

[recrowns]

[the headache is familiar.

and soo-won's brows raise at that before he encourages goat to lean against him so that he's just not collapsing on the ground again]

.... which rules?

I've at least tried to keep to three people a week for the team but...

[were there more he was supposed to follow, fuck]

The fourth, primarily--although it could be others, as well. People have not been cautious as we advised them to be.

[recrowns]

Ah.... I've said that you unmasked for me, and I heard that Wolf did the same for Lup - but I haven't gotten any details besides that.

[his brow furrows]

I'll be more mindful. Is that why all the messaging from the Realm looks odd today?

[retellers]

[ he nods. ] It's struggling to hold. When we realized what was happening, we notified the others.

[recrowns]

Is there anything that can be done to help?

[he.... doubts it but.

he has to at least offer.]

[retellers]

[ he shakes his head. ] ... Simply be kind to the other Leaders if you speak with them. It is taking a toll to try and re-stabilize things.

[recrowns]

... I was going to let them rest today - but I intend on seeking out Wolf and Rabbit tomorrow, at the very least.

[he tilts his head]

.... how are you feeling? I don't get the benefit of simply knowing with you....

[but they can touch instead so that's nice]

[retellers]

I will manage. I'm not as badly off as some of the others.

[recrowns]

.... you always say this but -

[he just sighs a bit]

.... well, it's alright. We can rest together for a time.

[ cries in tags ] It is the truth. [ ... ] There is little time to rest. Others have also called for me today.

I should've seen that coming since Xie Lian's also on our team apparently but - at least for now, I hope that you can relax a bit.

Do you know why he and I both got memories back today? As well as an item from home?

[retellers]

Our team has gathered enough nova. Did you believe taking a life would be the only way?

[recrowns]

That's the impression that we've been under, given that no one else has said anything. Wolf's team only just reached the threshold for a memory to come back without killing as well.

Then does that mean that Swan and Rabbit likely also got the same? Tiger's team hasn't gotten a memory back, so I wonder if Fox's has.

[retellers]

I have been saying it rather often, actually, to anyone who brought the subject up--that gathering nova would return one's memories. After all, that is what we were saying even before Virid killed. I don't know about Fox, but if we have reached the threshold, then it only makes sense that the teams above us have as well.

[recrowns]

Ah... it seems like we're all being taken by surprise that it's happening regardless. I'll check to see if Fox's team got it.

We must've gotten quite a bit of nova this week then, if we were able to reach the levels to receive an item from home as well as a memory at the same time.

[retellers]

[ he thinks for a moment. ] Not really. At least for our team, we didn't gather much more than we did last week.

[recrowns]

[hmmm]

Did we generate more as a whole due to voting correctly during trial this week?

I still wonder what it is that puts Wolf so far ahead then.... Even Rabbit, given what I know about Hilda and how murder doesn't seem to generate all that much nova.

[retellers]

[ awkwardly, ] Well... um, a lot of my team voted for you last week. [ ... ] I could not say why Wolf and Rabbit's teams do so well.

[recrowns]

Did they? That's good, it made some amount of sense to.

[he's only not bothered because he didn't get the most votes]

Hmm... I'll chat with them. You know I've found Hilda, right?

[retellers]

I am aware.

[recrowns]

What are your thoughts on it?

It sounds like what she went through last week with Rabbit lines up with what Shima did with Fox this week.

[retellers]

... If nothing else, it's true that things never fully re-stabilized after Virid spilled blood, back then. Rabbit and Fox get along with each other better than they do with some of the others, so if it's a lie, it's not impossible for them be co-conspirators... but I have never had a reason to believe in any malice from them.
