Why the hell is someone dead As expected, especially after we all fell unconscious, something has gone wrong. Ichinose Hajime has turned up dead. It must have been by the hands of another participant, as we Leaders are incapable of seriously harming them, and yet I suspect they did not act purely on their own volition. A participant, on their own, would not be able to alter the state of the Realm like this.
It is dangerous to blindly point fingers at one another, but if we cannot figure out the truth of what happened, that may yet happen.
Some of us are faring better than the others. I cannot imagine what Wolf and Goat's lives were like before this, for them to accept this so calmly, however unhappily. Tiger and Swan are shocked and upset; Rabbit is perhaps taking it the worst of everyone.
I can't say I'm looking forward to facing the participants tomorrow. Still, we can't run away from this. If anything, the participants must be more shaken than us, so it is our job to do whatever we can to help them.
