GRAVEYARD

GRAVEYARD

Well, that sucked.

But no matter what your death was like—whether it was something peaceful or traumatic, you'll find yourself waking in a completely white room on the floor. Small and empty, there isn't anything else there besides an open door to walk through. But before you do that, you'll probably notice that whatever injuries you may have had, including whatever may have been the death blow, are now gone. That's exciting.

Stepping out of the room, it seems that you're in a large... house? with three different floors. Everything from floor, ceiling to furniture is completely white, except for the drawings that are plastered to the walls in each room. These are all colorful, drawn in colored pencils and crayon, and resemble a child's drawing. The other notable thing are the windows. While they're present all around the building, looking out of them only shows TV static. Besides that, everything is furnished with the absolute bare minimum of each room.

The first floor is all typical common areas one would find in a house. There's a kitchen, living room area, laundry room, dining room, and a main hallway where the stairs are. There are also helpful drawings in these rooms that show the rooms much more lavishly decorated than they actually are. There's a door that appears to be the way to exit the building, but it leads you to somewhere that's not the front lawn.

The second floor consists of nothing but twenty bedrooms. Each room has one queen sized bed, an empty dresser, and an attached bathroom with only a sink, toilet, and shower. Like the first floor, each bedroom has drawn pictures that show it looking much more lavish than it actually does. Thanks for nothing, artist!

The third floor only has two rooms. One appears to be a home office with nothing but a desk and two chairs, one behind it and one in front of it. On the desk are some blank pieces of paper along with crayons, as well as a written note next to them that says PLEASE DRAW THE PREFERRED ANIMAL :). It looks like this is how you ask for a meeting with a Leader.

The other room is much larger, and it's completely empty save for the many drawings lining its walls— in fact, the walls are covered in them, much more than in any other room. On closer inspection, though, it seems like these aren't actually drawings? The papers seem to be showing scenes from the living area. Everything from inside the hotel to the areas beyond the bridge are visible here. However, when curfew hits on Thursday nights, they revert to being normal drawings! Except for the fact that they're all drawings of stick figures being murdered in various ways.

Well. At least there's plenty of things to draw with, if you get bored.

As of Week 3, each person has the ability to send messages on their PHS unlocked.

[ Your dedication to your icon choices

just like Kano's dedication to charades and insisting on telling instead of showing.

He juts his thumb over his shoulder. ]

[hilariously i did not notice all my icons had a single visible eye i'm crying

Yoshizawa stars at him.

And then plucks the floaty from her head, miming throwing it over her shoulder.]

Um?

[ YOUR SUBCONSIOUS DEDICATION TO ICON CHOICES

But, uh, no- he shakes his hand head also waves both hands for good measure, do not throw away his floaty/neck stabilizer ]

—O-Oh!

[Quickly setting the floaty back down on her head. She is once again queen of the pool floaties.]

Then, is there anything else I ought to try away...?
suddenlybees: (019)

[personal profile] suddenlybees 2020-11-13 02:34 am (UTC)(link)
[ Well. His idea involved that pool floatie, but it's Sumi's crown now so he can't use it anymore.

He pinches his fingers together and draws a wavy line in front of his face. I can reuse charades if I want. ]

[She will relinquish her crown if he asks. Please.

She just stares at him, uncomprehending.]

... Do you have your PHS with you? Perhaps it would be easier if we wrote this down.

[personal profile] suddenlybees 2020-11-13 03:03 am (UTC)(link)
[ He does have his PHS with him but he shakes his head. Oh well, too bad! Easy and practical mean nothing to him. ]
siblingless: (137)

[personal profile] siblingless 2020-11-13 03:31 am (UTC)(link)
Oh... [Disappointed for all of two seconds, before she perks up.] Well, maybe you could borrow mine to write?
suddenlybees: (086)

[personal profile] suddenlybees 2020-11-13 03:32 am (UTC)(link)
[ Oh. Would she really hand over her PHS, the equivalent of handing him her cell phone and not expecting him to immediately snoop through all her texts and photos ]
siblingless: (119)

[personal profile] siblingless 2020-11-13 03:39 am (UTC)(link)
[She absolutely would, not that there's anything on it beside the texts she's publicly shared before. Boring.]
suddenlybees: (009)

[personal profile] suddenlybees 2020-11-13 04:06 am (UTC)(link)
[ He snoops through all her texts anyways, mostly hoping to see stuff sent to her when she was still alive. Did she get messages when she was alive? Should Kano pay more attention to meetings? Maybe.

He scrolls to this set of messages and helpfully points at "dont remember" then "time" then "f█ck" ]
siblingless: (125)

[personal profile] siblingless 2020-11-13 11:00 pm (UTC)(link)
[She received none texts while alive. Sad!

She peers at the sections he's pointing at and just. Blinks.]

You... [HALTINGLY, UNSURE.] You don't remember the time?
suddenlybees: (019)

[personal profile] suddenlybees 2020-11-14 03:06 am (UTC)(link)
[ Kano icly did not include her in his mass texts because "Yoshizawa" uses up too many characters and he had to be frugal with them ):

anyways he points at "time" and "f█ck" again in quick succession ]
siblingless: (031)

[personal profile] siblingless 2020-11-15 02:47 pm (UTC)(link)
... I'm not saying that word.

[Truly what's important here.]

Would it not be easier to type it out?
suddenlybees: (329)

[personal profile] suddenlybees 2020-11-16 03:09 am (UTC)(link)
[ ...

taps away on the PHS before showing her the screen again ]

I'll type it out if you say f_ck.
siblingless: (110)

[personal profile] siblingless 2020-11-17 11:09 pm (UTC)(link)
[...]

F. Ck.

[Literally pronouncing it just like he wrote it. Letter F. CK sound. He didn't include an u???]
suddenlybees: (007)

[personal profile] suddenlybees 2020-11-18 06:27 am (UTC)(link)
[ Oh. You know what? That's valid. Kano does what she asks and types out his charades. ]

I was thinking maybe you or somebody could stich me up?
Are you any good at that sort of thing?
siblingless: (129)

[personal profile] siblingless 2020-11-21 01:22 am (UTC)(link)
[oh. oh, no.]

I've used a suture kit before but I wasn't really, ah— good at it?

[read: it was a mini-event fake person and it went badly.]
suddenlybees: (329)

[personal profile] suddenlybees 2020-11-21 06:27 am (UTC)(link)
That's fine.

[ As long as his head stays attached, it doesn't matter how messy it is. He's sure it would be fine. ]
siblingless: (129)

[personal profile] siblingless 2020-11-22 06:58 pm (UTC)(link)
And if I only make it worse?

[Kano, please have better standards for your medical treatment.]
