GRAVEYARD Well, that sucked. But no matter what your death was like—whether it was something peaceful or traumatic, you'll find yourself waking in a completely white room on the floor. Small and empty, there isn't anything else there besides an open door to walk through. But before you do that, you'll probably notice that whatever injuries you may have had, including whatever may have been the death blow, are now gone. That's exciting. Stepping out of the room, it seems that you're in a large... house? with three different floors. Everything from floor, ceiling to furniture is completely white, except for the drawings that are plastered to the walls in each room. These are all colorful, drawn in colored pencils and crayon, and resemble a child's drawing. The other notable thing are the windows. While they're present all around the building, looking out of them only shows TV static. Besides that, everything is furnished with the absolute bare minimum of each room. The first floor is all typical common areas one would find in a house. There's a kitchen, living room area, laundry room, dining room, and a main hallway where the stairs are. There are also helpful drawings in these rooms that show the rooms much more lavishly decorated than they actually are. There's a door that appears to be the way to exit the building, but it leads you to somewhere that's not the front lawn. The second floor consists of nothing but twenty bedrooms. Each room has one queen sized bed, an empty dresser, and an attached bathroom with only a sink, toilet, and shower. Like the first floor, each bedroom has drawn pictures that show it looking much more lavish than it actually does. Thanks for nothing, artist! The third floor only has two rooms. One appears to be a home office with nothing but a desk and two chairs, one behind it and one in front of it. On the desk are some blank pieces of paper along with crayons, as well as a written note next to them that says PLEASE DRAW THE PREFERRED ANIMAL :). It looks like this is how you ask for a meeting with a Leader. The other room is much larger, and it's completely empty save for the many drawings lining its walls— in fact, the walls are covered in them, much more than in any other room. On closer inspection, though, it seems like these aren't actually drawings? The papers seem to be showing scenes from the living area. Everything from inside the hotel to the areas beyond the bridge are visible here. However, when curfew hits on Thursday nights, they revert to being normal drawings! Except for the fact that they're all drawings of stick figures being murdered in various ways. Well. At least there's plenty of things to draw with, if you get bored. As of Week 3, each person has the ability to send messages on their PHS unlocked.

[Does he expect Laine to play all the other parts?? He rummages around in the props and "costumes," pulling out what is clearly a cardboard burger king crown? He shrugs and puts it on his head.]

Don't ya think? You better be careful ya don't fall fer me in the process.

But I can't be Cinderella and her evil stepmother and her fairy godmother. [Laine does not know what a fairy is. or a godmother.] That isn't how this story works.

[Rummaging further in the supplies. They are terrible.]

Well. Either way, there ain't any dresses in here at all, actually. There's just this thing.
[He holds up one of those shitty plastic halloween costume bags with this inside, labeled "Miss Cinder Ella."]

They really skimped on the supplies here.

... well, that's easy. [He can put that... top.... on over his current clothes.]

[laid]

[He really shouldn't press the issue since he refused to put on any dresses, but...]

You ain't gonna wear the whole costume?

[He digs more into the supplies and pulls out a black cape.]

I could wear this and be an evil stepfather I guess?
[Capes = Evil?]

If I wear the costume, are you gonna fall for me? [He says, holding the skirt up.

Moving on...]

Evil stepfather should work, I guess.

[Flushing on reflex.]

Of course not! I ain't into dudes!

[TURNING HIS ATTENTION BACK TO THE SUPPLIES. Digging out a piece of cardboard that has been haphazardly painted pink with two elastic bands glued on.]

I guess this's fer the fairy godmother...

[Well, if that's how it is Laine isn't going to press him.]

Do you know what a fairy godmother is? The script didn't say much other than that she gives Cinderella a dress and some glass shoes. [And a pumpkin?]

[Shrugs!!!]

I know what a fairy is? I don't think of them normally grantin' wishes but I don't see why not, they've got magic?

[anyway he's putting on the cape first.]

So I guess yer Cinderella and I'm gonna be everyone else?

[tensecondsahead]

Can you handle that? I wouldn't blame you if you wanted to switch roles.

You kiddin'? I was born ta perform.

[Well. He is at least two completely people. Maybe he's onto something.]

Which "you"? [Look, he's got to bring this up at some point.]

[Frowns a bit!!]

What, you think Captain Schwann'd make a better Prince Charming than old Raven?

I don't know, he might be. But it sounds like I'm stuck with you for now, so let's see how you do.

[laid]

[Fuck that guy!!! He's dead now!!!]

This ain't much of a script so I guess we just have ta sorta ad lib things?

[Let's... see how we do. Laine clears his throat and...]

Oh woe is me! My evil step-father won't let me go to the ball!

[laid]

[Raven dramatically sweeps his cape around like he's fucking dracula or something. He puts on a voice that is probably best described as "witchy."]

That's right! You have to stay home and clean the house, Cinderella!

[Someone in the crowd boos. Rude.]

[tensecondsahead]

But how will I ever get married? I can't meet a man by staying here and cleaning!

[laid]

[Raven laughs dramatically. He's weirdly good at being a large ham villain.]

You? Married? After I find husbands for your sisters, you have to stay here to keep my house clean!

[More booing but maybe it's just because of what's being said.]

[tensecondsahead]

Alas! I wish I could escape, but I'm doomed to stay and clean forever! [Woe is him!!!]

[laid]

[Raven stands there for a moment, before apparently just deciding to stride off stage without more villainous words.

Someone in the audience shouts something about Laine's terrible costume.

When Raven sweeps back on stage he's swapped the cape for the shitty fairy wings and he pitches his voice up to what is clearly some approximation of a woman's voice?]

Cinderella, as your fairy godmother, I'm here to grant you your wish!
[He bonks Laine on his head with a ruler someone glued a foam cutout of a star onto.]

[Laine ignores the audience nonsense because he's a professional.

And he also lets himself be bonked on the head.]

Oh! Fairy godmother! I want to go to the ball and find a husband but my evil stepfather wants me to stay and clean up his messes forever!

[laid]

[Raven waves the shitty wand around.]

And you shall! With this dress and carriage and glass slippers, you can go to the ball! Just make sure to return home by midnight, my magic can only last that long!

[Or whatever. The audience is unenthused.]

[Oh they're doing a costume change? Laine... puts the skirt on over his current outfit. Look, a dress.]
