Well, that sucked.

But no matter what your death was like—whether it was something peaceful or traumatic, you'll find yourself waking in a completely white room on the floor. Small and empty, there isn't anything else there besides an open door to walk through. But before you do that, you'll probably notice that whatever injuries you may have had, including whatever may have been the death blow, are now gone. That's exciting.

Stepping out of the room, it seems that you're in a large... house? with three different floors. Everything from floor, ceiling to furniture is completely white, except for the drawings that are plastered to the walls in each room. These are all colorful, drawn in colored pencils and crayon, and resemble a child's drawing. The other notable thing are the windows. While they're present all around the building, looking out of them only shows TV static. Besides that, everything is furnished with the absolute bare minimum of each room.

The first floor is all typical common areas one would find in a house. There's a kitchen, living room area, laundry room, dining room, and a main hallway where the stairs are. There are also helpful drawings in these rooms that show the rooms much more lavishly decorated than they actually are. There's a door that appears to be the way to exit the building, but it leads you to somewhere that's not the front lawn.

The second floor consists of nothing but twenty bedrooms. Each room has one queen sized bed, an empty dresser, and an attached bathroom with only a sink, toilet, and shower. Like the first floor, each bedroom has drawn pictures that show it looking much more lavish than it actually does. Thanks for nothing, artist!

The third floor only has two rooms. One appears to be a home office with nothing but a desk and two chairs, one behind it and one in front of it. On the desk are some blank pieces of paper along with crayons, as well as a written note next to them that says PLEASE DRAW THE PREFERRED ANIMAL :). It looks like this is how you ask for a meeting with a Leader.

The other room is much larger, and it's completely empty save for the many drawings lining its walls— in fact, the walls are covered in them, much more than in any other room. On closer inspection, though, it seems like these aren't actually drawings? The papers seem to be showing scenes from the living area. Everything from inside the hotel to the areas beyond the bridge are visible here. However, when curfew hits on Thursday nights, they revert to being normal drawings! Except for the fact that they're all drawings of stick figures being murdered in various ways.

Well. At least there's plenty of things to draw with, if you get bored.

As of Week 3, each person has the ability to send messages on their PHS unlocked.

[ Vezda is here now, because what the hell else is there to do here. He's dressed in something akin to this outfit, although in a tasteful navy with red accents. It was clearly not sized for a man with this level of beef, so it's. A little awkwardly tight in places. And his legs are bare to the world....and kind of cold, to be honest.

He's cleanshaven for once, and his hair has been tied back. He keeps fiddling with it as he stands to the side by the food and drink. He shifts his balance back and forth and looks...unusually awkward, like a child who has no idea what to do with himself.

If someone approaches, he'll nod at them stiffly, fiddle with the drink in his hand, sip it a few times, and then finally mumble out: ]

...You think they're magically teleporting themselves between parties, or is there some special door we just haven't found yet?

[I can't believe Hikaru's more dressed up than Vezda. Per party tradition, Hikaru already has a pastry shoved in her mouth, though she'll give him a gentle smile when she sees him off shuffling around by himself.]

There's a path, between here and there. The Leaders haven't said where it is, exactly, but they're probably using that!

It's really dangerous, even for them, so the fact that they're taking time at all to be here is kind of a surprise. I wonder if we can do something nice for them as a thank you.

Why bother taking the risk so much if it's dangerous, then? They pop in back and forth like it's a revolving door.

Maybe they just want to make sure we're not left alone?

I'm sure some of them would like a break, too. Maybe being able to come over here is a little more relaxing for some of them. [rip Wolf wherever you are]

Yeah, I guess the stakes would be lower dealing with a bunch of dead people rather than live ones.

Mn... I don't think it's a matter of stakes or anything, Vezda-san. I think they care about all of us, regardless of where we are. Fox-san said it's just really, really risky to have more than one of them here with us at a time.

Maybe because they gotta make sure they're in the Realm to keep it from falling apart too much?

Goat-kun said it's kind of like a different dimension. Sort of like an afterlife, but not quite?? [She shrugs a little.] We're "removed" from the big part of it, anyway, and the "participants" have no way of travelling the road that the Leaders travel to get here.

I don't know any more than that.

Hmm. So it's kind of what you think, but also it's totally different and we don't have any way of making sense of it.

[ Normally he'd laugh here, keep up a good-natured attitude and a sense of humor, but like. He just got executed for a murder he didn't commit and now he's wearing these mortifyingly tight shorts over his uncomfortably beefy legs. He's allowed to sulk a little. ]

Sounds like any other day of my life. Or, afterlife, I guess.

I think if the Leaders could explain it better, they would. The more of the right nova we get, though, the easier that road will be to walk. We'll be able to use it, too, if the others can understand what's needed.

I... really, really don't like that people have to kill and be killed for this. But... I wonder how often we've tried to do something else, if Yoshizawa-chan was right about a time loop.

Or maybe we've already been trying this murder nonsense and it's failed, and that's why we're stuck here again on another go-around.

Do we have proof of either side, though?

We should check with Yoshizawa-chan and see who learned about the loops. There's gotta be more we're missing.

Oh, um. Only Goat-san and Swan-san can teleport as far as I know, but I suppose... there must be a special exit only the leaders can use? I can't imagine how else they would visit us.

So there really is some hidden revolving door between here and the Realm?

Oh, don't misunderstand! I don't know for sure. But it would make sense if there was, right? Though... I've also heard it's dangerous for the leaders to travel back and forth.
