Well, that sucked.

But no matter what your death was like—whether it was something peaceful or traumatic, you'll find yourself waking in a completely white room on the floor. Small and empty, there isn't anything else there besides an open door to walk through. But before you do that, you'll probably notice that whatever injuries you may have had, including whatever may have been the death blow, are now gone. That's exciting.

Stepping out of the room, it seems that you're in a large... house? with three different floors. Everything from floor, ceiling to furniture is completely white, except for the drawings that are plastered to the walls in each room. These are all colorful, drawn in colored pencils and crayon, and resemble a child's drawing. The other notable thing are the windows. While they're present all around the building, looking out of them only shows TV static. Besides that, everything is furnished with the absolute bare minimum of each room.

The first floor is all typical common areas one would find in a house. There's a kitchen, living room area, laundry room, dining room, and a main hallway where the stairs are. There are also helpful drawings in these rooms that show the rooms much more lavishly decorated than they actually are. There's a door that appears to be the way to exit the building, but it leads you to somewhere that's not the front lawn.

The second floor consists of nothing but twenty bedrooms. Each room has one queen sized bed, an empty dresser, and an attached bathroom with only a sink, toilet, and shower. Like the first floor, each bedroom has drawn pictures that show it looking much more lavish than it actually does. Thanks for nothing, artist!

The third floor only has two rooms. One appears to be a home office with nothing but a desk and two chairs, one behind it and one in front of it. On the desk are some blank pieces of paper along with crayons, as well as a written note next to them that says PLEASE DRAW THE PREFERRED ANIMAL :). It looks like this is how you ask for a meeting with a Leader.

The other room is much larger, and it's completely empty save for the many drawings lining its walls— in fact, the walls are covered in them, much more than in any other room. On closer inspection, though, it seems like these aren't actually drawings? The papers seem to be showing scenes from the living area. Everything from inside the hotel to the areas beyond the bridge are visible here. However, when curfew hits on Thursday nights, they revert to being normal drawings! Except for the fact that they're all drawings of stick figures being murdered in various ways.

Well. At least there's plenty of things to draw with, if you get bored.

As of Week 3, each person has the ability to send messages on their PHS unlocked.

[ Thank you canon for having fancy outfits so I don't have think of them, this is what Kano's wearing, the first time in over a month where he isn't wearing his ratty hoodie. Much like the previous party they all had, he doesn't look all too keen on being here, but free food? drink? He walks over to the ice sculpture and breaks off Fluttershy's ear and drops it into his glass of orange juice. ]

What d'you think, is the whole ~*~*team bonding*~*~ thing worth it?

[ It's not like he ever sussed out any other Goat, having died too early for any of that. As far as he's concerned, he's Team Dead Animal. ]

What do you mean, Kano-san?

[Goodbye, Fluttershy's ear... It's now as broken as Team Goat. Wow.]

[ cries over Team Goat ]

Like, you know, getting to know each other, sharing secrets, collecting blackmail material, becoming friends. Those sorts of things!

... Collecting blackmail material isn't a bonding activity.

[KANO.]

Spending time with our teams did allow us to collect nova on the other side. Who's to say it isn't the same here?

I mean, it could be.

[ A one-way bond is still a bond? ]

Aah, I did sorta avoid everybody on my team like the plague back then, huh? Maybe that's why our team wasn't doing so well?

[ Even if he didn't know anybody else on his team at the time, how their roster turned out... Yeah. Sure wasn't friends with anybody there. He hung out more with Goat themselves than with the others on his team. ]

It really couldn't be.

[She frowns a little — though it veers towards sympathetic as he continues.]

That isn't your fault, Kano-san. There are other factors that play into it, like the way they vote, or the nova they collect when the leaders gather us during the week.

I voted correctly the one time I did...

[ But he'd also died that same trial so ???it probably didn't count /: ]

Figures whoever's got the most members left is gonna win, huh? Not like the winning team matters, though, s'long as the winners are suuuuuper generous with their wish.

[ Like Sumi saying she'd use hers to save everybody. Not Kano who would've used his for more selfish purposes. ]

It's likely... It ought to be easier to gather nova when most of you can vote, right? I just hope no one uses their wishes to cause harm.

Who the hell knows? [ Huffing out a breath as she crosses her arm. She's dressed up and her chocobo is matching with a little black bow tie of it's own. ]

Though I guess it hasn't been that bad...

[ ohh the flower lace... Two black cats are parading around somewhere, Kano's soul cat and also butt cat, one of which crouches down when it sees the chocobo and does the little hunting butt wiggle. ]

Hm, yeah. That's 'cause our team is better, though.

[ Dead team best team. ]

[ The little chocobo let's out a little wark sound at the cat. ]

That's because I'm on it.

[ Is it really? Oh well. ]

That does get me thinking that maybe we should pick out an animal.

[ Butt cat butt wiggles before Kano picks it up and deposits it on top of Cater's head. ]

Yeah, it's 'cause you're on it~ What do you think? Hippopotamus?

[ The bird seems to leap up to try to catch the cat's tail with it's beak, but manages to miss.

Cater now has a cat as a hat. ]

Hey! I didn't say you can put him on me...

[ It doesn't sound like she's actually bothered though. ]

What's a hippopotamus?

[ The cat is warm and rumbly. ]

A hippopotamus is, like... You know Chiron? But, like, really fat, and knows how to swim.

[She's missing the hat but otherwise seems perfectly comfortable, immediately at the food table and stuffing a pastry immediately into her mouth with about as much grace as one would expect, aka none at all. Fire dog is following her around, though it seems the fire has turned off in favor of just regular fur for now.

She and the dog both just watch Kano commit property damage, sighing a little.]

It makes more nova if we try to stick together, right? I mean, it's not the kind we need right this second, but anything is better than nothing.

[ What's the point of an ice sculpture if not to use it before it melts? Like it would last long anyways, with fire dog in the room, though it's not on fire anymore. ]

Huh? What? Nova comes from hanging out with people?

[ Is Team Wolf all buddy buddy and Kano's out there destroying friendships left and right and that's why Goat was last all those weeks ]

Sort of. I heard from a few people that making bonds with everybody helps, like... making new memories and stuff.

You didn't know?

[She just expected that Kano was just like "eh fuck the system i'll get ALL THE NOVA MYSELF" so she only sounds a tiny bit surprised.

She is tossing her dog something from the buffet table, which it catches happily and trots off to eat.]

[ He shrugs, because he did not actually care all that much about nova, but those weird little tasks were fun- he got to play around and pass the time. This too, a party when they have nothing to celebrate, is just something different to break up the monotony and pass the time. ]

Memories are memories, right? Doesn't have to be with friends or whatever. Sometimes your strongest ones are the bad ones.

Mmm... yeah, sometimes. [haha... Her hand moves to the back of her head, running through her hair.] I wonder if that's why people killing other people is what has to be done to fix our problem, specifically. You can have a whole bunch of really happy memories, and a single bad one can make them all really hard to remember sometimes.

Still. I don't think it's bad that people want to make as many happy ones as they can. Nobody wants to just be left with nothing but sad things to remember. Isn't that easier, when the people around you are people you get to know?

Eh...

[ Dying isn't so bad. He won't say it out loud, but having gone through it twice, it was mostly just... resignation. A little regret. That's all dying was. Better than splintering, he supposes? ]

As long as it's not mutual, I guess. There's, like, waaaaayy too many people out there, anyways. Our little group is probably okay?

[ He likes his little group. Bucky also exists. ]

[Her mouth puffs up a little in a pout.

Okay, pout over. But she gives him kind of a knowing look, reaching out to poke him in the forehead before grabbing for another pastry.]

For somebody that acts like you don't care, you worry a little too much about what other people think.

[ huffs

He wishes one of his cats were wandering nearby so he can drop it on top of Hikaru's head. ]

'course I care a lot, you know? I take great care in making people think what they do about me!

[Haha, suffer. She'll just nod.]

That doesn't mean you can't have fun or get to know people or anything. I don't think they gotta be separate.

[ He balances his orange juice on top of Hikaru's head instead. ]

There's a time for everything. All that stuff's for later.

[ It's always later. He can live his life later, he can be happy later, he can do things he wants later, but right now, in this situation, standing around in a stiff suit just makes him super antsy. He's got a dad to kill, he can't be here. ]

[She stays as still as possible, taking this as a challenge as her outfit is almost completely white and this is a very mean thing you just did, Kano.

She makes it about 5 seconds before her hands fly up to keep the glass put.]

Are you just bored, Shuuya? Maybe we could get the others to do something with us...

Oh, like that game that everybody did on the other side, over in the spas! The one with the truth or dare stuff! That could be fun, right?
