GRAVEYARD Well, that sucked. But no matter what your death was like—whether it was something peaceful or traumatic, you'll find yourself waking in a completely white room on the floor. Small and empty, there isn't anything else there besides an open door to walk through. But before you do that, you'll probably notice that whatever injuries you may have had, including whatever may have been the death blow, are now gone. That's exciting. Stepping out of the room, it seems that you're in a large... house? with three different floors. Everything from floor, ceiling to furniture is completely white, except for the drawings that are plastered to the walls in each room. These are all colorful, drawn in colored pencils and crayon, and resemble a child's drawing. The other notable thing are the windows. While they're present all around the building, looking out of them only shows TV static. Besides that, everything is furnished with the absolute bare minimum of each room. The first floor is all typical common areas one would find in a house. There's a kitchen, living room area, laundry room, dining room, and a main hallway where the stairs are. There are also helpful drawings in these rooms that show the rooms much more lavishly decorated than they actually are. There's a door that appears to be the way to exit the building, but it leads you to somewhere that's not the front lawn. The second floor consists of nothing but twenty bedrooms. Each room has one queen sized bed, an empty dresser, and an attached bathroom with only a sink, toilet, and shower. Like the first floor, each bedroom has drawn pictures that show it looking much more lavish than it actually does. Thanks for nothing, artist! The third floor only has two rooms. One appears to be a home office with nothing but a desk and two chairs, one behind it and one in front of it. On the desk are some blank pieces of paper along with crayons, as well as a written note next to them that says PLEASE DRAW THE PREFERRED ANIMAL :). It looks like this is how you ask for a meeting with a Leader. The other room is much larger, and it's completely empty save for the many drawings lining its walls— in fact, the walls are covered in them, much more than in any other room. On closer inspection, though, it seems like these aren't actually drawings? The papers seem to be showing scenes from the living area. Everything from inside the hotel to the areas beyond the bridge are visible here. However, when curfew hits on Thursday nights, they revert to being normal drawings! Except for the fact that they're all drawings of stick figures being murdered in various ways. Well. At least there's plenty of things to draw with, if you get bored. As of Week 3, each person has the ability to send messages on their PHS unlocked.

I'm on Wolf's team. Dunno anyone else's though, nobody ever told me their teams. The 'each team has to kill two' is known among at least some of the others, though. I told Soo-won about it when I found out, and he seemed to already know too. So knowing how to fix this is out there, it's a matter of everyone believing it and working together.

I'm not surprised that Master Won knows, heehee. I attempted to guide him towards the answer in a letter last week. I wonder if it helped. . .?

I am one of Fox's loyal representatives. It was Fox who gave me the information on how to "revive" the "dead" last week.

He's pretty smart, I'm sure what you told him helped.

[That's said with a fond voice. Soo-won has grown on him.]

Wolf told me last week too, I'm guessing they all just remembered it recently.

Then it must mean that at least one person on Master Wolf's team killed last week.

One kill, supposedly. If what Lady Sumire is telling us is correct.

I got a memory back two Sundays ago too, is that tied to a team getting a kill?

That was my other theory when I discovered Master Shima was also on Fox, as I received a memory back the weekend he killed as well. But I have yet to confirm this with a Leader.

It might not hurt to ask. then we can see if something else changes, once we hit two deaths for a team.

I know there's some items that have powers. I had one that lasted 24 hours, one of those stones. Are there any that last for a whole week?

I cannot say. . . why do you ask?

Nothing big. Just some unexplained stuff from last week. I kept hyper-focusing on something to the point where it distracted me from even sleeping sometimes, and now that I'm not feeling the same way anymore I kinda wonder if someone was being a dick to me.

[blinks a few times, brow furrowed]

If I might ask, what happened to you last week?

[lionson]

[If he's being cagey, it's because he's disappointed in himself for falling for this so easily and not stopping to think rationally.]

It was like...okay, so I knew that people were being asked to kill others. And before last week, I was thinking to myself "It's really unfair to ask this of people who might not be emotionally prepared to kill. I should volunteer for it." And I was gonna talk to Wolf about it. But then last Monday those thoughts got ramped up to like a thousand. It became "It's going to happen again. Some kid is going to have to murder again." And that felt wrong.

So I thought that maybe if I found out who was going to be put up for a Leader-hit next, I could just take care of it before anyone else had to. And I should've just talked to the Leaders about it but...I dunno. I couldn't stop thinking about it. And when I thought 'maybe Emet's next?' that suddenly became 'it's absolutely Emet, kill him.' And I think I didn't sleep any of Wednesday night because those thoughts wouldn't go away.

And I know, I should've just talked to someone, but it really wore me down okay? It felt like I had to be the one to do it, with no help from anyone else. So only I would take the blame for it.

... I may have an answer to that. Did you speak to Shima-san the week he killed Brick-san, Fujimoto-san? He can speak for himself, but... Supposedly, he received a message on Monday that asked him to provide two names. The names he provided were Claude-san and Hua Cheng-san's. That's why why were acting so strangely back then.

[Shima, please confirm or deny.]

Um... I also heard that others suffered strange effects that lasted several days. When I spoke to someone about it, we came to the conclusion that three or four people may be receiving a strange message like that.

...wait. So you're telling me the PHS might have made me paranoid? And that someone may have picked for that to happen to me?

Who's getting these messages, exactly?

Yes! If my theory is correct, that's exactly what I'm saying. But the recipients may change each week, so I wouldn't be able to tell you who selected you. They may not have even know what they were doing when they offered your name. I'm sorry, Fujimoto-san.

Well hopefully they come out and just say it, so I can go through the process of being mad at them and forgiving them.

I didn't get any memory back after someone from Goat's team killed. I wonder if that's related to "nova splintering".

Perhaps. It may be something worth asking Master Goat about.

It isn't... My team received a memory and an item back last week, but nobody on our team has killed. From what I heard, it's just an indicator that your team has collected enough nova. That's all.

'Enough nova'. For what, exactly?

I think it's collected to the rankings. But that's why we're here in the first place, isn't it? We were asked to collect nova.

Yeah, but how do they decide what is 'enough'?

I don't think the leaders decide. There are a lot of things that the Realm does all by itself.

I'd still like to know how the Realm knows what is 'enough', and if we can help the other teams.
