the queen On Wednesday, 9am, Sora will receive a message on his PHS. Hey! Please come meet me at the castle right away!! Upon receiving this message, Sora will notice that the castle appears closer than usual. Should he head towards it, he will finally be able to reach its entrance. Inside is a large hall with various doors, along with a staircase, but Sora will be able to access only a single door. Once he steps inside, he will find his Leader waiting for him. After their meeting is over and he leaves the castle, he will no longer be able to reach the castle again. ༶•┈┈⛧┈｡o°✥✣ 　　 ✣✥°o｡┈⛧┈┈•༶ As the Queen: Every Wednesday, the Queen will be given a choice between three items to help them during the competition. Each item will have a positive and negative effect of equal value on the game. While they will be told the positive effect of each item before making their choice, the negative one will only be revealed to them once it has been made. Choose wisely. ༶•┈┈⛧┈｡o°✥✣ 　　 ✣✥°o｡┈⛧┈┈•༶ Additional notes: The Queen will be allowed to ask questions about the ongoings of the games and communicate with their Leader in their weekly meetings. They will be able to also receive small hints in the game should they perform well. However, the information received will be up to their Leader's discretion.

[...well. to no one's surprise except maybe swan's, sora's going to drag himself into the room in his usual beach wear, bundled up in a loose-fitting zip-up hoodie. give him a second to shuffle over to swan and drop a muffin on the table for her before he grabs the closest chair to drop into and immediately lean against her for cuddles.]

...I think I have questions about all three of these today.

[ tired baby ... Swan indulges him in cuddles immediately, patting him ]

Haven't been sleeping well, I guess. [sometimes...you are anxious about helping plan a murder you're not even actively committing. and also sometimes you're too hyperaware of your own bleeding chest.]

Mmm. Would it help if I let you sleep in my room this week?

[ since he's sharing with two other people. but right. business ]

That one's... a little different. Basically, every time someone eats a gumball, there's a chance of something good happening.

...can I think about it? [he likes hilda and ange is the thing, but also he's filled with insufferable amounts of internal screaming for a variety of reasons. but he doesn't linger on that because business first.]

Good things for one person, bad for another then. Tempting, but risky. [he'll lean forward to prod at it before he picks up the compass.] What about the compass?

Okay. [ the offer is out there if Sora wants to take her up on it anyway. This one she tilts her head ] The compass can point you towards evidence you've missed. Which...might not be the week for it.

[ unless they wanna make sure to not lose a body again ]

[there's a nod and a slight nudge of his head into her shoulder as a thank you.]

Absolutely not. [no.] ...we're working with the Foxes. Blanca knows who we're killing, and we know who to frame to make things work in our favor. I'd rather not take any chances of tipping off everybody else.

[which...he feels shitty about just because there's a difference between having people be killed, killing bad people, and actively planning to kill someone he considers a friend. but he can't focus on that, so oh well.]

That makes an energy shield! This one's a repeat. [ she sighs ] Sorry, this week is kind of a dud, isn't it?

[reconnective]

Wasn't sure if it was the same. [he grins though.] It's okay. It's not like you're the one picking this stuff.

[but...hmmmm.] Swan? Is it a guarantee that this should be our last weekend doing this? The last two teams are doing kills to meet the numbers to save the dead, but...after that.

[retellers]

I don't know what'll happen for sure after Sunday. Just that... we'll hit the time limit we were given last cycle. [ she hums in thought ] But that doesn't tell us about after, or how we get out of here, or what we'll need to get out.

[reconnective]

...I was thinking about going to talk to Fox. I think he's the one who wrote the reports people found, so I want to see if he has any insight on stuff. As long as we're in the time limit, we should be okay for saving our friends.

I'm just thinking...even if these aren't useful now, maybe they will be later. Especially if that monster's still out there.

1. A gumball machine?
2. A broach that activates an energy shield around the wearer.
3. A compass.

[ The three items are on the table for Sora to choose. The items are there physically, so Sora can pick them up and look them over as much as he wants. Once he has made his choice, he will have to select it in his new QUEEN application on his PHS. Comment here once you're locked in before Wednesday, 3PM EST. ]

Okay, so... this one isn't so bad. When you use it, it'll bounce back any attack. So just make sure you're clear of anyone else!

That's a good thing though isn't it? If it bounces back, I can counterattack whatever attacks me first.

Well. You can't really control where it'll bounce back? It's like... the energy the shield takes will bounce back somewhere else.

Oh. Well...that's still okay. I can make it work. [tapping his chin.] Multiple use?

Yep. There's no limit there. So it's kind of a wildcard defense, but you can use it whenever!

[reconnective]

Okay. [it's drawn out a little and he pockets the broach for the time being.] I'll hold onto it for now, see if we need it.

[ she says, knowing full well half the teams are vulnerable, ]
