THIS WILL PROBABLY BE SHORT they didn't get a lot because I should have bodyslammed you harder but at the same time I wonder if they could have gotten any closer than they did?

Clem liked Jeanne at first...! She was nice, and cool, and Very Pretty but that's not important haha!!! anyway!!!

The thing is that she really REALLY had a hard time seeing eye to eye with Jeanne. Everything she said seemed so rational and sincere and Clem values sincerity a lot. She found herself having a hard time disagreeing with the things Jeanne said, even though they were DEEPLY counter to the way Clementine looks at the world? But instead of getting frustrated she was mostly just like "huh." And would go back to her room and lay down and have to think about the world for several hours LFDFGFHFG

She appreciated Jeanne backing her up in their CYOA and honestly that tag still fucking makes me lose my shit it was so funny...

Anyway even though they weren't close, and even though Jeanne really made Clem's efforts to protect her in trial (by getting her team to vote for her in advance) totally pointless by doing all the work herself... The whole thing was very much one of Clem's most important moments. Just going WE DID IT. We. SAVED someone! AAAAAA!!!! Despite the bad shit, that was her hope!!!!

UNFORTUNATELY, SHE SINCERELY HATED JEANNE DIGGING INTO HER RELATIONSHIP even though it was her own fault for saying it out loud in the first place that she was taken. She was really frustrated and genuinely uncomfortable, and regrettably the whole encounter was just [ Clementine will remember this ] in a bad way. If they had known each other better she might not have minded some ribbing but as it was she was still VERY unsure of the relationship and didn't really want to talk about it and was just Upsetti.

So she has a positive impression of Jeanne as a person and concept!! Yeah Jeanne is great!!!!! So pretty, very wise, very confident and cool and has a way of looking at the world that I respect even if it is different from my own! ... But she doesn't want to talk to her because she feels that they are not very compatible.
