But I think in the end he had less motivation to Be Bullshit in this game, so... She at first just thought - oh this guy is kind of annoying, but. He's not sabotaging us? He's not CREATING problems, he just isn't solving them. As far as groups go, that's... Not such a bad person to have in one?
So it was fine... SHE NEVER UNLOCKED ANY LORE..... They were not super close... At all...
But she did learn early on that he seemed like he was just fuckin' chill with anything she said. Which was VERY refreshing because most people would go "oh what the fuck" when she said things, either in sympathy or horror. But he would just be like "nods. valid." And that was way fucking better. She didn't like people constantly reminding her that her world was fucked up or that she was soooo tough because to her it is just?? the way things are? She mostly stopped posturing pretty early on so she was no longer seeking that kind of a response and was just like STOP!!!! but Emet never even started. Very nice, A+
Alphinaud warned her to look out for him, so she like... Did? But he seemed fine? And Alphinaud never explained why so she was like *shrugs* that's their problem.
And then he was a role! And he made rules! And the rules were... Silly? But they never really bothered her? So she had no strong feelings about that. Just that he was part of the Roles Group. And Clem has strong feelings about GROUPS and they are outwardly: groups bad. And inwardly: I'll die to keep these people safe if that's what it takes.
So once he was in role meetings he was kind of By Default someone she wanted to protect, regardless of how they actually got along. Which they did...! But they weren't close? But it was fine???
And I've said this before but her favorite thing was just being able to be a bitch about things to him. Because almost all her other CR would react negatively, but when she was mad about something she could just go "THIS FUCKIN' GUY" and Emet would be like "nods. valid."
So she liked that a lot.
