I talked a little on plurk about how Clem is a very sincere person and also a big liar all the time... So even when she IS judging people, she'll still always want to look out for them. So I think in the beginning Mob just seemed to her like. An ordinary kid! He was chill, but probably not suited to the stuff she's used to. (And then a little while later she developed the understanding that: Well, why would he be?) But that's the primary reason he was Babyzoned in her mind. Most people she knows are Tough Hardened Survival types who carry around knives or baseball bats and are. Mean. And the only exceptions to that are like - nice little boys.
Anyway she thought he was a sweet kid that she would like to look out for, even if she also felt like she had no idea how to actually talk to him. Then she saw his memory of the psychic powers and it was very... Uh, unifying and ALSO polarizing at the same time? I don't think those are the best words. But seeing that he is much more than she had assumed was jarring because she was like. Oh! I don't know shit about this kid actually! And not only that, but the thing I just learned about him is the one thing I've been internally going "???????? 😒" at all game! (Magic. Psychic powers... They're the same to her...) BUT ALSO he was rescuing his brother, and that hits on her own experiences at having had to go rescue AJ, so she was half "haha what the fuck now i extra don't know how to talk to you" but also half "well at least that's kind of relatable"?
And then he was on Team Rabbit and that got kind of the same reaction as all of them did where she was just. Overwhelmed by how her whole team was all these nice people that she Liked whether she knew them well or not and was like. Ready to die for them or kill for them. And all of the rabbits, like... Did what she asked. They trusted her? She had a group of her own that just LET her make decisions for them, without an explanation? And she was just getting used to her role meetings having that kind of sway and power to change things for the better and. Then Mob died unexpectedly. And she was just like. Oh right! Oh right, things are terrible! My mistake for forgetting! And that kickstarted her depresso that spanned the next week because of A Lot Of Stress Factors.
But she was just too hyper-focused on trying to manipulate the rest of how things played out to even linger on it that long and she's very used to having to move on and keep herself focused when people she likes die.
so she just. focused on other stuff and later got to be relieved he was okay. thank god.
As with anyone who even remotely gets along with Clem or that she trusts (and she does trust Mob), I imagine that post-game she just. Shows up sometimes to enjoy Civilization. But she has no money. She probably makes Mob buy her fast food. It's very rude.

No, it is funny to me how many people close to him in age baby zoned him but also incredibly unsurprising. He comes across as extremely soft and useless.
Anyway he's not from a world where having magic or psychic powers is normal, either. He just thinks of it as normal and a not very interesting aspect of himself.
