OKAY FIRST OF ALL I HAVE TO APOLOGIZE. I realized a bit too late I am much better at coordinating pcs when people are on my plurk and for some reason didn't realize you were not there, I'm crying. I fuckin loved Ange and honestly wish I had picked up more slack in pcing with you so... gomen for that.

But oh yes, Chiron was super fooled by Ange's persona and still doesn't even really know who she is as a person. So all of his attention/assumptions are based off of that lie -- that Ange was a young woman who had to grow into herself and needed some guidance, and he was happy to do that for her if she wanted. THOUGH SINCE A LOT OF IT WAS JUST LIES...

That said, there were a couple of moments that made Chiron "hm" in retrospect. The first was when Ange was like "okay you just. deal with the fuckin baby, I'm not going to" during that CYOA. Chiron really should not have been so sidetracked, but it didn't escape his notice how surprisingly competent she was in that crisis, even though he did not dwell on it long enough to talk to her about it.

The second was when Ange told Chiron that they were friends. Even if it was a lie and she did not consider him anything as such, Chiron is not used to having any type of friendships; for him, he's a tool to be used for the greater good, or a teacher to guide students down their paths. Both of these existences are wrapped up in bittersweet partings, so being around anyone long enough for them to consider him a friend takes a while for him to comprehend. Regardless, he appreciated that talk with her, and it helped him consider his friendships with other people, too.

So his own feelings on her ended up being relatively positive. If I get a chance to come at you in the farewell log, he'll probably just be mildly like "oh, then I suppose we haven't truly met" and not take any offense because it's legit hard to piss Chiron off.
