The ideal case, given that things have progressed this far, would be that we gather enough nova to deal with the original problem--before Viridian killed, and caused all this to happen--and return home. That objective hasn't changed.
No—ultimately, we should all work towards doing so... But how quickly could we possibly work? I would not be inclined to believe that an act to save all worlds out there can be done swiftly, nor easily.
