Any idea why Emet was spared?

I'm glad, obviously. It was self-defense. But... Do you guys know why he didn't have to get removed?

I don't know exactly why, but... I'm pretty sure it was the interference of some other participants.

My guess is that someone from one of those groups that disappeared got an item they didn't tell anyone about.

Do you think there's any way we can make it happen again? I doubt this is going to be the last time this happens...

The only way is if someone who's able to does it again, since all I know for sure is that it was definitely a participant.

Have you talked to the other Leaders much? I know it's probably safe for you to keep some secrets from each other, but...

Maybe it was someone with duties, like mine?

I... kind of suspect that it was, if I'm honest.

I just really don't know who or how it worked.

I don't know either. But I want to find everyone else that has duties.

What do you think happens if I can get us all together?

You could try to coordinate? I'm... not sure if something will happen, but it wouldn't hurt to try.

I think that's my goal for now. Not sure what else to do. Maybe we could work together to figure things out.

Whether splintering is actually a thing or not, or if there's a traitor, or... Anything.

Like if one of you guys is telling people to kill for no good reason in secret. From what I can tell, we don't really have confirmation on any of the theories floating around.

Yeah, but do we know that it's been justified, each time? That no one is just taking advantage of an excuse?

I suppose they could be lying. But there should be some sort of sign, so it's only really odd if there's absolutely nothing pointing to it. [ ... ] Although if we don't catch the killers, it would be hard to ask about it.

So how do you guys decide who's going to put out the order?

No... it's like, each week, someone notices it, but the rest of us don't. My working theory is that since the Realm isn't powerful yet, it can only give one of us at a time the ability to sense it. But I could be wrong about that, since we haven't really had a chance to test that out...

Don't you guys talk to each other, though? Couldn't whoever notices tell the rest of you, and a different team go through with it?

Or is there some reason that you would want there to be kills from someone on each team? Because that's another theory I've heard.

Um, no. The reason we can't tell each other is because it involves you guys. We're not supposed to interfere with each other's teams. And suggesting that someone from a team needs to, um, be... killed... is interfering...

But what did you hear?

... Unless it's because they're splintered?

I heard there might be a way to bring the dead back. Running theory was that there needed to be two kills from each a team to be able to. Like if two people from your team killed, you would get more powers. Or... Something.

The only way we can approach one another about something regarding a participant is if we are aware the other Leader already knows. It's... complicated, and it's usually only possible if you guys shared your teams with someone on a different one. That way both Leaders are aware that the other can listen in.

But um... I can't confirm that, since I didn't receive the information directly. But I heard about it too.

That makes it seem like it would be better for everyone to just share their teams, then. Then you guys could just talk openly.

Huh. Any idea where that idea started? If it was something you only heard about, then it must have come from a different leader, right? I can't imagine any of us just guessing about stuff like that...

In theory, yes, but then that would also make it much harder for us. So we would prefer dealing with the handicap than what would happen if you all shared too freely.

It had to be another leader. There are two ways for us to get memories back. The first is just from you getting nova normally. The second, um... when someone on our team kills, it does get a memory back for a leader. Both a personal one, and one about the Realm. So, I assume it was someone whose team killed recently.

Mm, alright. Sticking to the secrecy, then.

So there is a good reason that you guys might want your team to kill. It would help you remember.

I guess... but we also just get those memories from nova collecting, so if you guys just did that normally, we'd be getting these memories anyway.

I know with at least participants, you guys might have an idea of what you've forgotten, so that might lead some people to kill. But since I don't really remember anything, I don't know what would be so important to kill for.

I think... Someone's personality could still make them think it's worth it. Having nothing is still a hard situation to be in.

It's the same for us, right? We can get memories back if we just do well with the nova thing - not just by killing.
