if she does so, fox is waiting there, leaning against the bridge. as she approaches, they give her a polite dip of their head. ]

[ Dorothy dips her head in return-- and then, without preamble, also leans against the bridge. ]

Well, I figured I might throw about approximately seven to ten questions at you, and see how we get along from there. If you want to take a break before we begin, speak up now.

[retellers]

[ in the same cheerful tone that they've generally used all week, ]

I can't promise that I can give a satisfactory answer to all of them, but fire away.

week 0, sunday

[retellers]

[ dorothy will receive a message telling her to head to the bridge!

fox is there, etc., etc. they turn to her with a smile, though it's more strained than their previous ones. ]

I'm sure you must have a lot to say.

[misstrust]

[ We've got to stop meeting like this, in places where Dorothy can just flip you off the bridge--

No jk she's not going to do that, but she is going to take one big deep breath before she speaks. ]

I do. But you can stop smiling, I'm no one you need to fool.

And what about courtesy? I can't imagine any of you needs to see me frowning, after all.

week 1, sunday

[retellers]

[ dorothy will receive a message telling her to wait where she is, aka in the planetarium.

after a while, fox shows up at the entrance, knocking politely to catch her attention. ]

[misstrust]

I was almost starting to miss you.

[ Dorothy flaps a hand at them. ]

A shame we have to keep meeting for reasons like these, though.

[retellers]

I'm sure.

[ ... ]

So what is it today?

week 3, monday

[retellers]

[ thanks for rufus's leftovers, dorothy. anyway, she'll receive a message: ]

Please wait there. Also, if you hope to speak about recent events, please keep in mind that I cannot confirm or deny anyone's teams and therefore cannot verify anything they may have said.

[ but if dorothy still wants to wait at the planetarium, fox will eventually show up at the entrance, looking tired and headache-y. ]

[misstrust]

[ Look, she promises not to ask about teams!!

And she, also looking tired but less headache-y, offers him a wave. ]

Busy time once again, I see.

[retellers]

[ they wave back. ]

You could say that, but a job is a job. Did you need something?

week 3, tuesday

[retellers]

[ there's a text notification on Dorothy's PHS! it reads simply "outside". once she walks out of the planetarium, she'll find Wolf waiting for her out there, arms crossed. ]

Something you needed?

[misstrust]

[ To that, she-- flips a coin to him. ]

Rufus told me to give that to you. He said something about a bonding exercise?

[retellers]

[ they'll catch it, looking ... unsurprised ]

... Yeah? He say anything else?

week 4, monday

[retellers]

[ dorothy will receive a message telling her to head to the inn kitchen.

there, fox is in the middle of brewing some tea. when they see her, they smile politely. ]

What can I do for you?

[misstrust]

[ Dorothy takes a minute to just... limp over to the closest chair and lower herself down into it before she speaks.

And then, tiredly-- ]

I wanted to apologize. I was incredibly rude to you and I should have at least made more of an attempt to trust you.

[retellers]

[ ...

with a slight slant of their head, ]

It's fine. I apologize for losing my patience--it's understandable that you wouldn't trust us.

week 4, sunday

[retellers]

[ dorothy will receive a message telling her to head to the inn.

fox is waiting in the lobby. ]

[misstrust]

[ Good thing Fox wasn't like "I'm anywhere upstairs" or Dorothy would have several faces to make.

And, with a tired smile, she waves and leans on one crutch. ]

I told you I'd find them.

[retellers]

[ they smile back, though with a similar air of tiredness. ]

Congratulations--you really weren't kidding.

week 5, sunday

[retellers]

[ dorothy will receive a message telling her to wait there.

eventually, fox shows up, knocking on the doorframe of the planetarium. ]

[misstrust]

[ Thanks for not making her hobble elsewhere for this-- ]

... Did I not radiate enough murderous intent this week?

[ She sounds a little petulant. ]

week 6, thursday

[ dorothy will get a message telling her to head to the bridge.

there, fox waits. without the mask hiding his eyes, he looks a lot more tired, but he smiles politely when he sees her. ]

[misstrust]

[ Dorothy smiles politely in return. ]
