I don't think everyone can yet. I think it's from...

[ they are thinking. ]

It seems like the castle will let you pass once we reach a certain level of comfortableness with you? Or... something like that.

[ but the castle grounds are very spacious! there isn't much for decoration outside though. they will move to open the door to go in. ]

[ She smiles, a little cheeky. ]

I'm going to take that to mean that we're friends.

[ She'll follow them inside!! She is deathly curious. ]

[ inside they go!

the very first room seems to be like a lobby area, with six doors. rabbit ignores them though, instead going up the stairs. ]

We have to move very quickly so that we don't run into the others.

[axecessory]

[ not supposed to have house guests? she follows along, keeping her voice low. ]

So they don't figure out I'm on your team...?

[ a nod. ]

Mmhm. It'll be pretty obvious if they see you, since it's mostly people on our team who talks to us.

[ she nods back, following along quickly!! like rabbits. it's kind of fun sneaking around like this. anyway, whenever they get to where they're going: ]

[ it's mostly long hallways and doors that rabbit ignores until they reach their destination.

rabbit pushes the door open and it's--well, a bedroom. more specifically, it looks like a girl's bedroom, with soft colors, a desk, and a bed covered in stuffed animals. cozy.

when rabbit shuts the door behind them, they turn back to hilda. ]

This is my bedroom.

[ and then she takes off the mask. ] Um, please make yourself comfortable.

[ !!! HER LEADER IS MOE ]

[ anyway after hilda's surprise wears off, she takes a seat on rabbit's bed. ]

Aww, what were you hiding your face away for? You're so cute!

[retellers]

O-oh, um... thank you! [ there's a polite bow. ]

[axecessory]

[ she's going to commandeer one of the stuffed animals, casually squeezing it between her hands. it's much easier to get comfortable now that she knows who she's talking to... kind of. ]

Does that mean you guys decided it was okay to take off the masks sometimes?

[retellers]

Mmhm. Although I think we still mostly just prefer to do it with people we talk to often... [ they're not about to unmask for someone who has only said two words to them. but she pulls the desk chair out and settles down on it. ]

[axecessory]

[ she laughs lightly. ]

All right—I'll keep how adorable you are a secret.

[ though unfortunately she's not just here to be gal pals. ]

Sorry, you brought me all the way to your room and I just have a bunch of boring questions for you today.

[retellers]

[ she shakes her head. ] No, that's fine. There are actually some things I'd like to tell you, so maybe your questions will overlap. But please ask whatever you'd like and I'll try to answer.

[axecessory]

[ she nods, stretching this poor stuffed animal's face as she braces herself for Business. ]

Okay, first off... [ and maybe she's already expecting this one: ] Do you know what happens to everyone who's "removed?"

[retellers]

Well... their souls are being kept somewhere else. So, you can say they were removed from this specific plane, and their souls were place in a different one.

[axecessory]

Huh. [ is that. good? better than being obliterated? ] Okay, so their souls are... out in limbo somewhere?

[retellers]

They're safe, don't worry. If things go well... they should even be able to be brought back. [ she looks down. ] And... since you did what you did, even Cater should be fine. [ and she looks back up, very quickly. ] May I call you Goneril-san? Or Hilda-san? I'm sorry, I've been very informal this whole time since none of the other Leaders used honorifcs. I didn't want to be the odd one out.

[axecessory]

[ her shoulders sag a little with relief, a tension she didn't realize she was carrying. that's... better than expected. almost better than she can believe, considering how well resurrection goes in femblem land, but things are beyond weird here already. ]

Really...? That's great. I'd like a chance to say sorry, if I can.

[ not that she expects cater to forgive her or anything. she doesn't regret what she did, but it's regretful it had to come to that. either way, she shakes her head. ]

Oh, Hilda is just fine. Lord Goneril is my brother, and I'm not about formalities anyway. Do you remember your name?

No, I don't... it's just that none of the other Leaders used honorifics for some reason, so I was worried about standing out if I did. Even if it felt right. [ she claps once. ] I did remember something else though! About my life before this.

[ and so she remains bunny. hilda cants her head curiously. ]

but she frowns. ]

It's... actually pretty complicated. But the basic summary of it was that some people and I seemed to be caught in a time loop? We kept repeating the same two weeks over and over again.
