After what happened last weekend, there has been even more of a disturbance than before here. We've been trying to figure out what exactly has changed, but we weren't really getting anywhere with it... but today I've been alerted of something.
[ there's a pause, hesitant, before continuing. ]
Whatever Virid--um, whatever he did, it's causing the nova in this place to splinter. Break, I guess.
... nothing good. Um, I guess imagine the Realm like a person who is already sickly, and we're meant to be the the ones to try to heal it. But suddenly, tumors start to grow. And since the body was already weak from other circumstances, it won't do well against the tumors. So you have to remove them before they spread.

Basically... even though people are losing memories here, if everyone does what they're supposed to do and bring enough nova back, those memories should return. But if your nova splinters, there's nothing we can do to bring it back. You'll simply lose that part of you, and then another part, until there's nothing left that was once you with no hope of getting any of it back. You'll become a shell of a person.
[ It's a little surreal listening to it all. Like when Edelgard had made her war declaration—even if the year had been twisting and strange, the feeling of seeing an army out her window made the floor fall out under her. And now this, the second shoe falls.
She stares at Rabbit a bit, as though waiting for a punchline for a very distasteful joke, but eventually runs a hand through one of her pigtails. Think, Hilda. ]
Okay... But you have an idea of how to fix it, right? You must've called me here for a reason.
I... [ a deep breath. ] The only way to stop it is to remo--to kill her. And we only have a very short period before it fully spreads to someone else.
[ they use that word, since hilda already commented on the usage of 'removal' ]
I can only ask people on my team, and... if I'm honest, I think the majority of the people on mine would get killed instead if they attempted it. A-and, I can't do it myself--I'm not allowed to harm a participant. If I even tried, the same thing that happened to Wolf during the removal on Sunday would occur, but worse.
[ Well... there's probably no pretending she couldn't take Cater in a fight. Though most people could kill someone with enough surprise and willpower.
The people she's met here seem a little too softhearted to manage that much, though that doesn't make her feel much better. The sweet edge to her voice drops off as she mulls. ]
If I do that... the new 'rules' we got are going to try and kill me too, you know.
[ She's pretty sure they're aware, but just to point out how much she's putting herself out for. ]

I know, it isn't fair. I shouldn't be putting this responsibility onto you or anyone else. There's no amount of apologies I can offer you that will make up for this request.
[ She's quiet for a moment, rubbing the ends of her hair between her fingers absently. It's possible she's being manipulated, and that Rabbit is lying. That this whole thing is just a sham.
But the risk if it's real is too much, and she's lost fights, she's not an idealist. Sometimes, you have to act and it's not pretty. That doesn't make her strong—but for better or worse, she's decisive.
She knows who she'd kill for, even if she doesn't realize yet who she'd die for. ]
