The bridge is a sort of gateway--it connects to places that need our help. That's the... short and easy answer.

So we're going to be visiting places each week and helping out...?

So what's the long and hard answer?

The places aren't the actual places themselves. The Realm is pulling up memories of those places--so they aren't exact replicas, since memories aren't perfect recollections of people and thing.

The Realm also isn't actively changing anything that's through the gateway like it is here. This town is specifically for us, which is why the Realm has so much influence on it--it doesn't normally just go out and create things like it did here. But since it didn't do the same for all the places across the bridge, it doesn't have control over them. Normally, it's only a 'bystander' in all the places it's connected to--like your worlds. It doesn't influence your worlds other than to connect to the nova that's there.

Well.. I can't say it makes perfect sense [ because it doesn't!! not to him! ] but I get it. Thanks.

What about the, uh, creature that's out there? Is it some kind of manifestation of nova, or something else?

That's what we're trying to figure out.

Are there other ways to collect Nova, other than the obvious? Wolf's team seems to be doing pretty good.

Oh, yeah, there's a lot of different ways.

Besides killing. Everyone is so obsessed with the idea of murder and nova and it's really exhausting.

Uh, like nova in general or both of those combined? Because I'm not looking to kill anyone to collect nova. But I do want to be efficient. .. Nonlethally.

A lot of the stuff you do during the week gets some. The activities, when those groups went on their bonding trips and got maimed...

I do do the ... activities. I don't really want to get maimed when I go on my field trips, but I guess?

So that way of nova gathering is out unless I... fall into a... whatever those are.
