The places aren't the actual places themselves. The Realm is pulling up memories of those places--so they aren't exact replicas, since memories aren't perfect recollections of people and thing.
The Realm also isn't actively changing anything that's through the gateway like it is here. This town is specifically for us, which is why the Realm has so much influence on it--it doesn't normally just go out and create things like it did here. But since it didn't do the same for all the places across the bridge, it doesn't have control over them. Normally, it's only a 'bystander' in all the places it's connected to--like your worlds. It doesn't influence your worlds other than to connect to the nova that's there.
Uh, like nova in general or both of those combined? Because I'm not looking to kill anyone to collect nova. But I do want to be efficient. .. Nonlethally.
