Anyway. Two people have told me they have extra stuff they can do here. I thought one was just a coincidence, but. Does every team have one of those?

One of them can stay up during curfew, and the other apparently picks the rules that change every week. That kind of extra stuff.

Uh, no? I mean, I... assume their team leaders are giving them the power to do it? That was the gist I got from one, or - well. Maybe I just assumed that.

[ he hums in thought ] They tell you any details other than that?

Nnnno. They're both real cagey with it - well. One is more than the other.

That they could do that? No. Explains the weird rules that pop up from time to time, though.

Okay. Well - Blanca's one. He's on Fox's team and he can stay up all night on Thursdays.

Emet-Selch's the other. He won't tell me everything he can do, but I know he can change the rules at the very least. And uh, he's on Tiger's team.

I've been trying to tell them the stuff I know if only because - you know, if they have control over the Realm in any way, they should know the big stuff, right?

I will. He seems like exactly the type of melodramatic villain John Hunger is, and I'm not interested. But uh - he did ask me for suggestions for the rule this week and I gave him one, and he used it!

So. I might have some sway on that.

John Hunger. That's... the name of the Hunger? [ she's mentioned that one enough he has overhead it, yes, but not. the. the full name. john? is it truly john? ]

Yep. Well - there -- okay, well, the Hunger is a plane of existence, so it's not really a person, but the spokesperson and dude who ran the damn coalition that turned into the Hunger is named John, for sure.
