Uh, no, but we sort of know what our teams do and talk about? Which, okay, sounds super creepy. It's only if we pay attention!

[ hm. they decide to move on to just. drooping ]

I don't know, but it's-- well, not the worst, being in last would be the worst, but it's still bad.

Oh, ew, gross. See, now I have to tell Wolf to not spy on me. [ lup you're not supposed to tell the other leaders what team you're on

she pauses, though. ] Quick question - is being in last the worst because you're super competitive and hate losing, or is it the worst because the team in last gets their hands chopped off?

Wolf? Really?

[ it's muttered, but then they shake their heads quickly ]

I like winning! That's it, I promise. The ranking part is still ... consequence-less.

[evocationary]

[ she squints at them for a long moment. metaphorically points to eyes points to swan it better be consequence-less. ]

Do I not seem like a Wolf girl? Wow, I hated that sentence the second it came out of my mouth.

Wolf can be kind of a jerk. [ It's fine, they'll just come out there and say it. ]

[ snortlaugh. ]

No, no, they're just misunderstood. Are all the jerks on Wolf's team?

Well, team choices are random... [ they tilt their head in thought ] So I don't know. It's just, you know. Taako's on mine and he's your twin, so it's weird.

[evocationary]

It is weird, and I gotta tell you I don't like being on separate teams. Especially now that things are awkward with the whole murdering someone maybe gives you your memories back bombshell.

[retellers]

[ They put their hands over their face to muffle a very loud UGHHHHHH ]

I know it's worse for you guys, but what was THAT?! That should not be a thing!

[evocationary]

[ i'm losing it swan please ]

Ha! No, no it should not be! Do you know why it was?

[retellers]

No! We didn't even know that was a thing until he said it! [ they throw their arms up for emphasis. they have a lot of feelings. ] We're all "yeah, you'll get your memories back as soon as this is over", and now someone's just swooping in with "or if you kill people"! What are we supposed to say to that!

[evocationary]

[ she just runs her hands through her hair. ]

You say hey, maybe don't kill people but like, I don't know how much that's going to stop them. Or - if people don't want to do a murder, they're gonna be expecting one around the corner.

And I assume we're still stuck here for another week, but like - okay, look, can you explain to me why the doors locked on Thursday night? Do you know why that is?

[ they are so tired, but yes. answering questions. ]

I don't know. But... the Realm couldn't have done that by itself. Locking people and knocking them out, coincidentally to Virid's murder, it wasn't... Virid wasn't working for it, he said so himself.

Lock a bunch of people away from home and nerf them and take their memories, you get some pretty nasty feedback.

The Realm couldn't have done it by itself? So like, what, something else influenced it? Something not Virid.

Right. ...It could've been whoever influenced Virid in the first place.

[evocationary]

Wait, something did influence Virid? I thought he was just real ready to win.

[ she's slowly picking up pieces give her and me a second ]

He talked to a few people about it, a little. I should really let you talk to Wolf about this. [ they're gnawing at their lip a little ] But Taako's on my team, so I don't want anything to happen to you. Ughhhh.

I can ask Wolf about it. [ that's easy enough. ] I came at you mostly because I wanted to make sure you're taking care of him the best you can. Taako, I mean.

It's more important to me than anything that he stays safe.

I am! Well, we haven't talked much yet, but I don't want anything bad to happen to him.

[ they sound determined enough about it ]

Oh! Really? [ there's a beat ] I mean, of course! I'm looking forward to it.

[ yeah they teleport to get it, it's like two feet away, it's just a flash of light and then a second one. just walk? ]
