Wolf's kind of a jerk. [ RUTHLESS ] Well, we traded our own nova-- our memories-- for all the things we can do for you guys. Which you already know about. I don't think that's possible for you?

[reconnective]

He's probably just not used to talking to so many people. [please don't defend wolf.] I thought so, but I wanted to make sure. If we get your nova back are you gonna lose your powers though? I guess you wouldn't really know until it happened.

...Wolf said you guys have a lot of powers, but they didn't seem to like them. Do you like yours?

[ they dutifully ignore his defense of wolf, but sora will probably Feel their raised eyebrow there ]

Probably we'll keep our powers so long as we have this connection to the Realm. Who knows after that?

[ they are just handholding forever now. ]

Some are great! And some are kind of... useless? Like "uh, why would I ever use that".

Some of mine are like that, too. Can you tell me more about yours? [if he sounds hopeful, it's because he is.]

Well... I don't want to say too much. Some of the others can be soooo private. [ there's an air like they're rolling their eyes ] Buuuut we each have control over an element? [ they hold out a hand and make a ball of light float over their palm ] That's the best one, I think.

[reconnective]

[light....light! he knows light! as the ball floats above their palm his eyes widen as he leans in closer to see it.]

Wow. [he's well aware he has some pretty powerful magic of his own but it's still neat! and also, I hate to ask, what happens if he tries to touch the ball?] That's looks awesome.

[ it's really just meant to illuminate in this case, so his finger passes through it easily! like they're holding. light. ha ha. ]

Right? [ brightly ] And I never need to turn on a lamp. [ it's a joking tone, though ] There's other stuff, but I probably shouldn't show off inside here, since Iiii'm not sure if the others would sense it.

[ they stick out their tongue a little, like "woops" ]

That's okay. Maybe next time? After you guys get to know us better and everything. [he's going to hope that's how this works.] The other Leaders don't know that I'm on your team. But do they know anything else? Like...do you guys share information about all of us or anything?

[retellers]

[ they echo it eagerly, so it's not like they DON'T want to show off. ]

Nope! Everything you guys tell us is confidential. It'd be hard to trust your Leaders if we were always gossiping behind your backs, right?

[reconnective]

Yeah, but I have a feeling some people are going to have a hard time trusting you guys anyway. [he'll just say it, but it's clear he's not really happy about it.] But that's good to know.

...can we really ask for you whenever we want to see you guys? You won't be too busy?

[retellers]

Hmhmm. I can't really blame them. I think if it was me, I'd be suspicious too.

[ they nod at that ]

Yeah! Any time. And if we ever do get busy, we can just tell you on your PHS. I could've texted you to tell you I was coming earlier, but it felt like a waste of time when I could just show up here instead!

[reconnective]

That's good. I'd hate to take you away from something important. And I don't mind the surprise! You don't have to text before coming. I'll be here.

[he squeezes their hand gently.] Thanks again for coming.

[retellers]

[ they squeeze back and then just straight up lean over and hug him tightly before leaning away. They're grinning at him but still sort of. holding on. ]

Thanks for calling me! It was fun hanging out. Feel free to do it again anytime, okay? I'm here for you. And it's fun to get out of the castle.

[reconnective]

[oh! hugs are nice...it happens so suddenly he doesn't hug back right away, but when they don't pull away entirely he returns the gesture. we have now gone from handholding to loose holding.]

Yeah! I'll bring some more presents next time, too. You must get pretty bored hanging around the castle all day waiting for people.

[retellers]

[ hugs are very nice. platonic displays of affection are important? but they stick out their tongue at sora at that despite the proximity ]

I don't just wait for people to call me. Just because the work is boring doesn't mean there isn't any. We have to find the source of the disturbance... [ they sigh ] I wish I could just-- I don't know, punch it? And then mission complete!

[hugs!!! i should have updated his KH2 hug icon anyway oh well. but he makes a face in response.]

Sorry. [it's dragged out kind of sarcastically even if he doesn't mean it.] If it was something we could fight we'd be out of here in no time. But if you don't even know where to start...[...hm.] Think it's something we can help you find, too? Along with collecting the nova.

[ they shake their head ] No... not right now. Maybe when we've collected enough nova, it'll be more obvious, but for now the Realm's all... [ they gesture vaguely with one hand ] Bleeeghhhh.

[reconnective]

Tell the Realm to get it together. [dumb realm :\] But okay. Then we'll just have to work together until it can tell us what we need to do.

[retellers]

Yeah. [ they finally stop the loose hold but stay leaning against sora ] It shouldn't be too long now. We know something's coming in a few days, so... Your presence should be the kickstarter to everything.

[reconnective]

[leaning is okay. swan is friend now.]

That's gotta be a good thing. No more mysteries about what to do next. [...well. that's not entirely true, but it's the optimist route.] Well whatever it is we'll do our best.

I think I like red the most. [he says. wearing mostly black.] But okay. That's good to know.

You wear like, all black though. [ they'll point it out thanks. they poke at the plaid ] I guess this is KINDA red...

[he reaches back to also pull on his hood. it's also red, that counts.]
