Most likely, yes. Between those of us with duties such as mine-- we are missing one of our number, but do have at least one contact within the unrepresented team. All of us have been attempting to make arrangements and keep an eye on proceedings... but there is always the risk of others acting too independently.
[a sigh, a shake of his head.]
...I am not sure how much you can say, of that first week, but I will ask regardless. The discussion has centered before around the initial disruption being caused by his actions, but I have been told before you are one of two who would know the most about our splintering problem. Was she the first, then? Or did it come after?
[were they already going to have issues before he even stabbed...]
... okay, so, that very first Monday we were all here. We actually all remembered something, but I remembered something different than the others did. I didn't entirely understand it back then, but now I know it was definitely a past cycle.
[ she taps her chin. ]
It's like... in one of the past cycles, someone fucked things up, I think. I didn't actually remember whatever it was. But because of that, some kind of death has to occur, and it's probably why the nova you get from killing people is the only way to get us to remember stuff about the Realm.
So, basically I found out that the only way to jumpstart us actually learning shit, someone had to die. But the Realm still can't really handle deaths happening in it, so that's probably why splintering started.
Everyone was just collecting nova, but they weren't getting any leads or anything. And then someone accidentally killed someone else on accident, and the Leaders started remembering important information.
[ she frowns. ]
It was a risky move, and I admit I decided to try it out for selfish reasons. I didn't want to be stuck doing this for god knows how long. I'd... prefer if you didn't let this spread too much. Knowing this isn't going to help us solve anything, since it doesn't really give us new information that'll solve the current problem. And I don't think any of the other Leaders are going to forgive me for making the call I did. It's probably why I was the only one who remembered it--I don't think the others would have done anything with it.
...very well. I might say that knowing what came before is yet helpful in our current efforts, but as we have already determined the deaths of the splintered are necessary, I do not think that this would change anything of the situation. We have already accepted it, largely.
[he folds his arms on the bridge's railing.]
Is there aught else of use that you've become aware of? I believe we understand more of why this has been happening, but not where to go from here, and we begin to run short on time.
Nope. After Virid killed, the only memory I got was the one the other Leaders already did--and that's stuff you all know by now. There's no other information that you don't have already.
[ since. no one else on this team has killed besides virid and emet. ]
Hopefully all of the other teams are as communicative with each other, too. It'll be kind of annoying if one fucks up because they don't know how to plan.

[ a pause ]
I don't think it counts towards our two kills though. The pathway to where the dead are wasn't actually open when yet he killed her, so...
no subject
[but he definitely relaxes slightly when she says she doesn't think it counts.]
I suppose it would have been too easy to allow us our two just like that... but very well. It should be taken care of this week.

... we probably shouldn't be surprised if there are a few more bodies too, this week and next. So that gives us more of a chance to get away with it.

[me desperately trying to keep info straight while on my phone and at work, god.]
What was it that you remembered, exactly?

Next week, then. If our assumptions about this week are right, a few of you might gain from it.
... and if it is necessary to go further, we may speak of that later as well.

... right.

If we have come this far, only for someone to get over-excited and disrupt all of our plans...

People can be so stupid. [ ... ] But at least it seems like most people know what they need to do, even if it sucks.
