It certainly did, in a strange way. He was quite suspicious of me, and seemed to feel as if he needed to end my life before my nova began to splinter and one of the children was tasked to kill me.
So, I suppose that is how such an order manifests.

He attacked me, and tried to drown me using a form of what seemed to be water control. I used plants in return to rescue myself and fight back, and once his power ran dry, restrained him with vines to put an arrow through his head, using flowers to obscure the wound.

No injuries, but the item is used and I appear to suffer some aftereffects from the near-drowning. All that remains to be done is... well, lie, I suppose. I placed a gun in his hand to ensure they look for bullet wounds.
Especially since if too many people start asking questions about what made him act like that... that's one thing that'll be annoying to deal with if people start freaking out about it.

Well. They beheaded the other one, so I think people are going to be more inclined to solve that murder.
