the queen On Wednesday, 9am, Sora will receive a message on his PHS. Hey! Please come meet me at the castle right away!! Upon receiving this message, Sora will notice that the castle appears closer than usual. Should he head towards it, he will finally be able to reach its entrance. Inside is a large hall with various doors, along with a staircase, but Sora will be able to access only a single door. Once he steps inside, he will find his Leader waiting for him. After their meeting is over and he leaves the castle, he will no longer be able to reach the castle again. ༶•┈┈⛧┈｡o°✥✣ 　　 ✣✥°o｡┈⛧┈┈•༶ As the Queen: Every Wednesday, the Queen will be given a choice between three items to help them during the competition. Each item will have a positive and negative effect of equal value on the game. While they will be told the positive effect of each item before making their choice, the negative one will only be revealed to them once it has been made. Choose wisely. ༶•┈┈⛧┈｡o°✥✣ 　　 ✣✥°o｡┈⛧┈┈•༶ Additional notes: The Queen will be allowed to ask questions about the ongoings of the games and communicate with their Leader in their weekly meetings. They will be able to also receive small hints in the game should they perform well. However, the information received will be up to their Leader's discretion.

[well he's about to say yes and that they should show him, but he's also trying to concentrate on what they're saying. he seems excited nevertheless, even if he tilts his head at the response.]

I didn't know we could be royalty here. [hm.] But...what does that mean? Is there a King, too?

[retellers]

I...don't know? [ uh. they shake their head ] This is an extra power the Realm has given me, to help with everything going on. The title comes with it. [ they grin again ] It chose who would inherit it from the people on my team who spoke to me so far, and it's you! I was so excited when I saw.

[reconnective]

Oh...[wow...that's kind of cool.] So this is what you meant the other day? About the hint? [he grins right back.] I'm kinda glad. It means we get to spend some more time together, too, while we're figuring stuff out. Right?

[retellers]

No, the hint's another thing! To help you find the others. I didn't know the details of this until this week.

[ but yeah they're clearly excited ]

But yeah! We can see each other more often now. Isn't it great?

[reconnective]

[he gets [axel voice] two?! that's even better. but more than that, he's pretty content being in swan's company.]

Definitely! [he leans back in his chair then.] I do want to help. So what does it mean to be the Queen?

[retellers]

[ they gesture at the items on the table. now that sora is looking at it more closely, it looks almost like a map? huh. ]

Okay, so, basically, these are items you can't get from us. You get to pick one-- depending on what it is, either you keep it or it'll show up in town or when you need it.

[ there's a beat and they grimace ]

Um, the downside is, there's a consequence linked to any item you choose. To kind of... balance out their existence? I can only tell you what it is after you've chosen an item, though.

[reconnective]

[...can he tell what the map is? he's gonna look while swan explains.]

Got it. [...] So you know what the consequences are already? Are they things that can be fixed after they happen?

[retellers]

[ it does not look like any place sora would recognize! just a very big map of... somewhere. ]

Once you know what they are, yes. [ they seem sure of themselves? ] There's no problem you can't fix if you know what the source is!

[reconnective]

That's true. [...why is there a stungun.] Swan. Can you tell me something honestly? [he doesn't wait for their answer.] Do you think we're going to have to have another trial?

[retellers]

If Virid's Leader really asked him to kill, yes. And if not... there's what he said we have to consider, too. [ it's stated grimly ] I don't know if it'll necessarily be this week, but if people really think killing might get them their memories back... It's scary, losing that.

[ says the amnesiac. ]

[reconnective]

Yeah...[he reaches for the luminol.] I don't really know what this is, but it would probably help during a trial, right? But we still don't have a way to heal ourselves, so the first aid kit would be good, too.

...but if we had a stun gun...[wow this is hard.] Once I pick, do we get to keep it until it's used? Or is it gonna disappear on its own?

[retellers]

Oh, it-- I'd never seen it before [ they think ] but it can show traces of blood on something if someone's washed it off.

But don't worry, you get to keep the item until you've used it up. There's no time limit on them or anything.

[reconnective]

Hm...[...hm. can he open the first aid kit to see what kind of supplies are in there?] If you were me, what would you pick?

[retellers]

[ yes he can! check the description for a list. ]

Well... The first aid kit has a lot of stuff in it, but you said you wanted a weapon. But the luminol might be helpful, too...

[ that was helpful, swan. so helpful. ]

Ughhh, I don't know.

[reconnective]

Ugggh. [he's just repeating them.] ...I want to help people. And that's why I think the kit would be a good idea. We don't have any kind of first aid available to us and if more people get hurt we're gonna run out of ways to treat them.

But if we have a trial and we're running out of ideas, the luminol would help us get a lead.

But...I don't really know how to use a stun gun, but I'm kind of at a disadvantage right now. And I can't help you or anybody else if something happens to me. [...this sucks.] Is there any way I can do something else to pick two of them? Or even to get something else later without wasting this choice?

[retellers]

You'll get more options every week we're here, but you have to pick one today. And stun guns are like stun batons, right? How hard can it be, you just turn them on and hit someone.

[ why do they know this ]

[reconnective]

Wait, have you used a stun baton before? [swan???] But okay, okay, I get it. Let me just think about it.

[this is hard.] ...having a stun gun on me would be pretty suspicious because everybody knows I don't have a weapon with me. So maybe not that one. The luminol would only help if there was blood, and nobody can predict that.

So...that leaves the first aid kit. [...he's still eyeing the gun though.]

[retellers]

Uh. Maybe? I know how it works, anyway?

[ don't question it. but swan is kicking their legs ]

You say that, but you keep looking at the stun gun. Is that the one you want?

[reconnective]

I dunno. It's...selfish to keep something to protect myself, isn't it? But maybe I could use it to protect other people, too.

[a frown.] This decision would be way easier if I had my Keyblade back. [he knows they can't do anything about it but sometimes you have to bitch anyway.]

[retellers]

You can't protect anyone if you can't protect yourself, too. [ they. just straight up pout at sora ] I'm sorry! You know I'd give it to you if I could.

[reconnective]

Yeah. I know. [he offers them a smile before it melts into a thoughtful frown.]

You said there were consequences, right? Do they only effect me?

[retellers]

Ummmm. Weeeeeell. They... might... not?

[ they grin weakly ]

[reconnective]

[...he just drops his head on the table and groans loudly.]

[retellers]

[ ... they pat sora's back gently. there there. ]

[reconnective]

This is so dumb. [it's muffled into the table.] ...but okay. I think I know what I have to do. At least until I can figure something else out.

[he's going to basically waffle on this choice long after he makes it, but.] I promised I would help you as much as I could, didn't I? I can't do that if I can't defend myself and everybody else.

[i can't believe he's getting a gun in week one.]
