the rook On Thursday, at 1pm, Blanca will receive a message on his PHS. It'll be a bit of a trek, but please head to the castle now. I'll make it worth your while. ☆ Oh, and don't tell anyone. Upon receiving this message, Blanca will notice that the castle appears closer than usual. Should he head towards it, he will finally be able to reach its entrance. Inside is a large hall with various doors, along with a staircase, but he will be able to access only a single door. Once he steps inside, he will find his Leader waiting for him. After their meeting is over and he leaves the castle, he will no longer be able to reach the castle again. ༶•┈┈⛧┈｡o°✥✣ 　　 ✣✥°o｡┈⛧┈┈•༶ As the Rook: Every Thursday, the Rook will be given the chance to stay awake on Thursday night. They can select up to a certain number of locations, depending on the week, and the order in which to check them. Any area bolded in the Locations page is an option, but note that implicit locations, such as the river, can be selected as well. The mods will inform the player of what can be found at a glance (if anything) at the chosen locations, depending on the timing. From there, the character can choose to do nothing or take one of the following actions: ★ They can investigate an area of the scene further, if they believe more evidence to be hidden. ★ They can choose a piece of evidence to examine. They will receive a hint of what the evidence was involved in. ★ They can alter the scene, whether this means adding evidence or removing evidence (or any other misc. action). The total number of specific actions the Rook can take that night will depend on how many locations they originally chose to investigate, with fewer locations meaning more actions—they have only so many hours to check things out, after all! Therefore, the Rook will have to choose between increasing the likelihood of finding anything at all versus being able to take more actions should they succeed. If they come across the murder as it occurs, they will not be able to interfere, nor will they see the culprit's identity clearly. Likewise, the culprit will not be aware of the Rook's presence. ༶•┈┈⛧┈｡o°✥✣ 　　 ✣✥°o｡┈⛧┈┈•༶ Additional notes: The Rook will be allowed to ask questions about the on-goings of the game and communicate with their Leader in their weekly meetings. They may receive small hints should they perform well. However, the information received will be up to their Leader's discretion.

WEEK 6

[ The room looks like a typical open office. There are various desks, with computers to denote the separate seats, and each area generically decorated to look somewhat lived in. In one corner, there's what looks to be a break area, complete with a coffee machine.

Fox is leaning against a wall. ]

[ On Thursday night, after everyone falls asleep...

First, as Blanca... already exists at the Pier:

Lup, Sora, and Clementine seem to be asleep here. Three figures leave the area at the start of the night. Nothing else appears out of place at a glance, and no one comes along while he's here for the first part of the night.

Then, at the Beach:

Claude, Xie Lian, Hua Cheng, Jeanne, and Rufus seem to be asleep here.

There is a dolphin in the ocean with a gun.

There's also a trail of blood from near the water, leading to the boardwalk.

Nearby, at the edge of sand is signs of disturbance, as well as an arrow (as in the weapon kind).

At the very edge of the water is Gulfan, screaming. He appears to be injured.

A figure (Figure #1) is throwing what looks to be gun parts into the ocean. Another figure (Figure #2) is with them, not doing much of anything. Eventually, they head to the boardwalk.

Three figures (Figure #3, Figure #4, Figure #5), at some point, come from the boardwalk. Figure #3 limps around, leaving behind footprints, though they stop limping when they stop making footprints. There are two other figures (Figure #4 and Figure #5) with them; the three at some point start building a giant sandcastle, where they hide what looks to be bullets and guns. Eventually, they head back to the boardwalk.

Some time after all this, what seems to be Figure #2 is yeeted from high up above the boardwalk and into the ocean. They appear to then drown.

Figure #1 returns to the beach and then seems to be asleep.

Blanca can do up to 2 actions (listed in the post) in total, in any of the locations he checked. ICly, he will be doing/have done this at the time he’s at said location. What will he do/have done? ]

you're probably going to come back and tell me gulfan is now dead, but will gulfan let blanca get near him/handle him at all?

[ Blanca will get the sense that the gun (now owned by the dolphin) was yeeted by Gulfan.

While Gulfan doesn't appear to outright like Blanca, he'll behave mildly towards him! ]

[ he blinks once, looking a little unfocused, before a dry note enters his tone. ]

That seems excessive.

I don't know. Is it really excessive if keeping your identity is important to you?

[ it takes fox a few moments to respond.

You're poking at this quite a bit for someone who got what he wanted.

Did I, if I was fine never knowing? It's just a bit funny, the way some things work.

[ another pause. as he moves away from the wall and heads to the coffee machine—]

[He watches Fox.]

Do you know if it means anything? What happened to you all. [A pause.] Are you feeling all right?

[ lightly, ]

No one has reported any adverse physical effects.

[ he grabs a cup. ]

Who knows? You're all cooperating and organizing with one another so well—maybe the Realm has accepted that we're not needed by this point.

[papasha]

I'm not exactly worried as much about the physical effects as the other ones, Fox.

[He frowns.]

You're still a part of all of this, though. You benefit just as much as the rest of us. Does this mean you've lost your previous connection to the Realm? In what you're able to do.

[truthisms]

[ the cup slips from fox's grip, shattering when it hits the floor. he just stares at the pieces blankly like he's not sure what to do now.

well. anyway. ]

... No need to worry about that. We still have our connection. So far, it doesn't seem as though anything's changed besides the new dress policy, or lack thereof...

[papasha]

Fox?!

[He looks slightly startled, and then a bit more worried. Without really hesitating, he moves over to put a hand on Fox's shoulder to step him back from thr shards.]

Did someone curse you...?

and then he just kind of fuckin faints ]

[ he eventually blinks awake?? looking kind of disoriented, though. also, why the fuck are you still here blanca, you could've left?

after a few moments, he'll move away, albeit groggily. ]
