[ too bad its a murdergame.
anyway. xie lian pauses for a moment. ] ...Brother Goat, this may be a bit of a selfish question, but perhaps you will indulge this humble scrap collector.
Why did you choose me for this?
no subject
I didn't choose you, exactly--you were selected from among those who spoke with me last week.
Though even if it were my direct decision, I believe I would've made the same one.

can't believe i'm on tiger now
Thank you, Brother Goat. I think it is always in the best interest of anyone to do what we can to set things right.
...By the way, I believe I know what memory I'd like to trade with you, this time. Your wisdom reminds me of a teacher I had, a very, very long time ago - the Guoshi of Xian Le. He's since passed; he always had wise things to say. Whether I listened to them at the time or not was...debatable, [ he didn't, like ever, and he absolutely should have ] but I like to think I've learned since then.

Many people don't like listening to their teachers. [ they think. no memories. ] Especially as young children.

anyway. xie lian laughs, at that, heartened by it. ] I was a teenager, so I think that may be even worse.
Still, I think my experiences have taught me something, since. I hope if I do forget, I don't act as foolishly as I did then. [ mm. speaking of teenagers. ]
...Miss Usagi, I think. It's a shot in the dark, but better than no shot at all.

[ but at xie lian's decision-- ]
Usagi it is, then. [ then, more out of curiosity than anything: ] Do you get along with her?
no subject
[ they both have iron stomachs, big protagonist energy, and can't cook for shit ]
I find most everyone here pretty agreeable, though.
