overall you are correct they didn't talk to much by nature of them being themselves but that's okay lisa because i'm still personally glad bucky existed

so honestly a lot of sora's impressions of bucky were just that he was kind of one of those people who had a lot of things happen to him and his way of coping wasn't exactly the healthiest but it was just how things went. granted his first impression was actually that bucky was a disaster of an adult by letting a teenager encourage him to shave with butter and a kitchen knife, but it also worked in bucky's favor because it meant that sora just saw him as someone who would be easier to deal with later. on some levels they seemed to vibe and there were absolutely things bucky said to him that sora's fairly certain bucky is the only person who understands some unique circumstances (i.e. time shenanigans, etc) and he also has a lot of interest in bucky being a hero and his relationship with cap. that said, they never quite found solid ground to really connect on before bucky died. it wasn't even that he just didn't want to, it was more he wasn't sure how, and then the scapegoating happened and it was one of those moments sora went "well that sucks."

more or less bucky was someone on his radar who was just kind of like "well you seem like an interesting person but i'm not really sure what to do here" and he's someone sora would have liked to get to know better. he feels like there's a lot of untapped potential there and also he still thinks bucky's job is one of the harder ones out there because being a hero of any kind of taxing.
