Mooobbbbb. A bunny... her caring/insecure twin... I love mob. π He's such a good boy. Their CR wasn't complicated, but it was nice... even if I do keep missing you for lots of CR. Every time I'm like "I'm going! To get Siz CR this time!" and then I trip and fall and I'm like "NO!". I'll get it right one day, I promise.
In a way, Alex admires mob a lot? She's protective of children, but knows a lot of exceptional ones, and Mob follows this pattern as well. And not just because of his telekinetic powers? As someone who struggles with what he's able to do and who he wants to be, yet actively makes steps to understand and improve himself... she can't help but admire that about him. And she definitely thinks he's very brave. Bravery isn't always picking up a sword and fighting monsters, it's ... doing what you think is right to help a friend, even if other people are mad at you for it. Which is why she wasn't mad at him for using his gem to help Kano. She understood why he did it, and that he would've used it regardless, whoever was up for execution. But as she was fond of Kano herself, if anything she was actually a little grateful that he didn't have to go through any pain during that fight with Jeanne. Maybe it spoke to her a little more because it was helping someone she cared about.
Bravery is also speaking up in a group and saying that while you understand why everyone has to plan to kill someone, you personally aren't okay with it and don't know if you can, or want to be involved with the details. That sort of thing. It's being able to say "oh, I'm not comfortable here" and find a way to deal with or exit a situation. Which is to say, I'm fond of the truth or dare thread as well -- admittedly, at first because it was just really damn cute, and him telling her his limitations and what he wouldn't be comfortable with was good too. But also hearing that he sought out someone he knew would be kind to him and listen, so he could leave.
Mob came across as someone who tried his best whenever he could, and stuck to his own morals. There were a few times where he was very particular about things, like firmly agreeing with not forcing people to talk about things they don't want to -- and when he was trying to break out of the barrier, his kindness and drive still came out when he accidentally hurt her and stopped to make sure she was okay. Alex is someone who bottles her insecurities and tries to work through them herself and doesn't always feel she's changing anything about herself, but she's reluctant to admit that. So seeing Mob just being the sort of person who was always trying his best and trying to improve himself... made her proud? If that's the right phrase. It was nice to see.
And, you know. He was a bunny! Alex is automatically fond of her bunnies, and she was sad when he died. Because he's a kid, and he was part of a little group that meant something to her, even if they had only just found each other. She wanted to find out more about how he died, but they were locked in to focusing on getting the group to convict Jeanne so she had to let it go (... ha). She was very fond of him, and very sad that he was gone.
