I think it's really funny that Soo-won was like... gathering all the fucking info, and Clem was detective and was just :)?? and didn't know anything about anything lfmdgfhdg. But she sincerely liked him. I think I've fuckin said this on everyone's tl;cr (probably it had a big impact on who she got cr WITH) but Clem really values sincerity. And she got that vibe from Soo-won. It was just very EASY to talk to him about home? She didn't love the way a lot of people reacted to the things she said, but he seemed to just take them as they came and not make a huge deal of them.
When she would say what she felt and why he would just be like "that makes sense to me?" even if he felt differently, and told her so. Their CR didn't get a whole lot deeper than that, but she did really enjoy relaxing around him and did like him a lot!
Like I said on plurk, his letter to her. Was so fucking upsetting for her lmfdgkfhfg.
Clementine survives at the cost of other people's lives. That's the short summary of The Walking Dead Games. All four of them. Just - the people around her dying and dying and dying and dying. And I mentioned it in chat that taking her memories of people wound up not changing much because each time you take away a loved one she watched die there are still just 20 more! For someone who wants to survive no matter the morality cost, though, Clem has quite a few options in the games to give herself up in place of others. Maybe she thinks she'll make it out of things alright. I don't know. But she definitely hit that point with Team Rabbit. There was the high point of orchestrating saving Jeanne (not that it took much orchestrating because Jeanne is Jeanne) and then the immediate low point of having to let her Rabbits die. And she wanted to die instead, or get framed instead, like. She HIT THE POINT of weighing how much she believed in saving all the dead against how much she didn't want to be left behind, and was leaning heavy towards not wanting to watch people die anymore.
"But I hope that you especially make it to the end without being hurt." Just. Killed her? She was just like "I DON'T WANT THIS????????" The sentiments were so kind and compassionate which she didn't really get because despite being able to be open with him about a lot of things and perspectives that she didn't share with others, she didn't think they were very close friends. And the stuff about having peace for her and her loved ones was like "[ heart quietly breaking in the distance ] ............... Ok." Because at the time it still was not something she was ready to believe in, and she was at maximum stress, AND. SHE WAS FUCKING MISERABLE THAT SHE FELT LIKE in order to make sure they all voted for the protected person, she had to tell Hilda to stop pursuing his killer in trial. She just didn't want any distractions to risk people voting for the wrong person because that?? Destroys the whole point of protecting whoever they can, and everyone worked so hard, and she was just AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.
Anyway she knows very little soo-won lore. Actually, after reading your meta plurks, she knows fucking nothing about soo-won. And she understands this.
But she does like him and care about him and hopes the best for him!!
I think that she is too emotionally devastated by his note to be the first one to ever text him now that they have cross-world texting. which is hilarious in a way.
