Chiron enjoyed Usagi's company, though admittedly he saw her very much as a girl who needed guidance/someone to take care of her at some points. Between her appetite, how much she enjoyed gossip and clothes and so many other things that young girls like, she read like a civilian dumped in an unfortunate murder game (which is hilarious because I know her canon front and back).
That said, she could be surprisingly assertive and had moments of wisdom that absolutely made Chiron wonder what she did back home. He never asked because he is sadly not noisy enough to know the lore, but it does mean he at least expected her to keep afloat in the murdergame. And also he deeply appreciated that she ran after him when he was injured, because most people would just leave the ancient centaur to deal with his shit on his own. NOT USAGI, THOUGH. She was uncomfortable with his wounds and still stayed with him, and he loved her for that.
