okay just kidding so alex was someone who was nice and sora liked her right away, but he didn't really bond with her until after their cyoa and he realized he could actually trust her and that alex has her own ghosts that haunted her. they never really super talked about it, but it did mean he was more comfortable sharing things with her. alex also has this kind of calming energy about her that sora liked and it meant he felt like she wasn't going to stab him in the back and they could work well together.
he thinks alex is a very smart and brave lady overall. he admires her ability to keep focused and how she handles people, especially people like hansa and chiron. he thinks it's a very special talent to have and probably his favorite thing about alex is the way she's able to adapt even when she's so far out of her element.
there are times that they clashed without meaning to and he understands her perspective on things (namely his own sacrifices for his friends) but he did also sometimes feel like alex wasn't really listening to what he was saying (and that's likely because sora's 16 and thinks he knows better about things when he does Not) but the important part to him was that they could brush past those things and continue being friends. alex was also the first rabbit he found which meant she was a very important point of contact for him. sorry he kept sharing info with both her and clem and it wasn't always up to date, everything happens so much.
basically the bottom line is that alex was on-par with people like the radiant garden adults where he trusted her with the mission and liked to talk to her and wanted what's best for her. he feels like he learned things from her and ultimately he wanted to be someone she could trust, too
