GRAVEYARD 2.0
GRAVEYARD Well, that sucked. But no matter what your death was like—whether it was something peaceful or traumatic, you'll find yourself waking in a completely white room on the floor. Small and empty, there isn't anything else there besides an open door to walk through. But before you do that, you'll probably notice that whatever injuries you may have had, including whatever may have been the death blow, are now gone. That's exciting. Stepping out of the room, it seems that you're in a large... house? with three different floors. Everything from floor, ceiling to furniture is completely white, except for the drawings that are plastered to the walls in each room. These are all colorful, drawn in colored pencils and crayon, and resemble a child's drawing. The other notable thing are the windows. While they're present all around the building, looking out of them only shows TV static. Besides that, everything is furnished with the absolute bare minimum of each room. The first floor is all typical common areas one would find in a house. There's a kitchen, living room area, laundry room, dining room, and a main hallway where the stairs are. There are also helpful drawings in these rooms that show the rooms much more lavishly decorated than they actually are. There's a door that appears to be the way to exit the building, it's locked. The second floor consists of nothing but twenty bedrooms. Each room has one queen sized bed, an empty dresser, and an attached bathroom with only a sink, toilet, and shower. Like the first floor, each bedroom has drawn pictures that show it looking much more lavish than it actually does. Thanks for nothing, artist! The third floor only has two rooms. One appears to be a home office with nothing but a desk and two chairs, one behind it and one in front of it. While there's blank pieces of paper and crayons on the desk, the note that was previously there is gone. The other room is much larger, and it's completely empty save for the many drawings lining its walls— in fact, the walls are covered in them, much more than in any other room. On closer inspection, though, it seems like these aren't actually drawings? The papers seem to be showing scenes from the living area. Everything from inside the hotel to the areas beyond the bridge are visible here. However, when curfew hits on Thursday nights, they revert to being normal drawings! Except for the fact that they're all drawings of stick figures being murdered in various ways. Well. At least there's plenty of things to draw with, if you get bored. Also, a handy link to the previous post. |

.... oh, I suppose I've been better.
But... hello again, Shigeo.
no subject
[So it's fine if he feels bad, too.]
Hello, again.
no subject
.... I don't know if I have time to feel bad, I suppose? I'm more curious about what this side is like, after I've asked so many questions about it.
I knew I was splintering come Thursday... so until my memories of everything were too disrupted, I did expect to die. That is something most people do not get time for, I think.
no subject
[So this is unusual.]
no subject
... that's too bad. I wonder why. None of them are here? I haven't seen anyone...
[but swan and goat can teleport so? maybe he just missed them?]
Was it similar to their shifts on the other side?
no subject
They took turns. Um, Rabbit told me once it was hard to come across here, because the bridge was unstable. So it might not be a bad sign - maybe they're just working hard and couldn't come see us.
no subject
It solidified more over time.... but it's true that they risked losing some of their memories sometimes when they came to cross over here.
[he just sighs a little bit at that]
Ah, but... looking over everything and everyone - I will say that we should have met our threshold for revival, and then some.
no subject
[So. Maybe that's reassuring?]
We were pretty sure, because Dorothy-san was on Fox, and the person who killed Ochako-chan must have been on Swan. Yoshizawa-san was able to confirm they were planning something.
no subject
[soo-won nods at that, and then:]
Yes, that's correct. Taako on Swan's team killed Ochako and he had an assistant - I presume it was likely Hua Cheng, but that's also because he's the only other Swan I know... but he could be trusted with it, I believe.
I believe someone else killed alongside Dorothy, but that is only my guess. In general, most of the teams have been moving in pairs since we were made aware of the requirement.
Though if Dorothy is here after she killed someone, I can only presume that something went wrong with the typical plan.
Ah - and Emet-Selch killed me, so Tiger is well above their threshold now. I hope I didn't make things too awkward for them.
no subject
[I'm. Listen, I know that isn't actually what happened but.]
Emet-Selch-san is definitely on Tiger's team, right? We all know who everyone was killed by, and we know most of the teams, but that one wasn't for sure.
no subject
[that said:]
Emet-Selch is likely on Tiger's team. I know I proposed the previous theory that the blinking icons on everyone's PHS would indicate if someone on their team has killed - but I was corrected and it would suggest to me that it would only blink when someone killed the first time.
However, Tiger's PHS has never once blinked - which suggests that Virid was on Tiger's team [which is confirmed now thanks for the treat, jan] and when Emet-Selch killed Shiro in self-defense, he must've been on Tiger's.
Also when taking into consideration the rotation for nova splintering and how each Leader noticed at different times, a Tiger kill would have only explained why they were certain they had one before Jeanne acted.
Which is to say - I didn't know for sure, but I had a very strong feeling.
no subject
Thank goodness. Maybe this means no one else will have to be hurt.
no subject
just a bit confused?
ah well, he doesn't linger.]
We'll see. We may still have to defeat the monster that was eating nova - but I'm afraid I wasn't able to confirm that before I came here.
no subject
We don't know anything about the monster, either.
no subject
The Leaders had told me that it was hiding somewhere in the Realm, and they were trying to locate it.
Others informed me that it may be possible to also lure out the monster using nova collected as bait, so we may be able to defeat it once and for all.
But that's all I've learned.
