I think it's more like it should probably be aware that there's someone out there trying to get in its way, but I don't think it would have any more specific details considering how many defenses we've had to put up.

The problem is that if this space we're in falls apart because of an attack, then everyone here is going to immediately get K.O'd before a fight can even start. As of right now, I don't think it can handle a direct attack like that.
Aye, I concur, especially considering we know so little of this monster... Traditional methods may not even be effective against an entity so unknown to us.
Though, it does pose the question of how we could come to learn more of it.
No one wishes to be hurt, but unearthing the answers in which we seek does require throwing caution into the wind, at times. Nevertheless, when it comes to a thing such as a nova devouring beast, I for one would not wish to so blindly tackle such a problem.
