[fun fact i legitimately asked jan that question because i thought i was going to need to know if he still had his bow with him after going off the path was an option and hansa was here.

anyway, emet-selch looks just as surprised as the metatext is when hansa does not say he can handle going off the path. one brow arches, but then he nods.]

I suppose I could spin one or two tales, yes. If the boy is keen on adventure, mayhap hearing about something from another place entirely will distract him.
